Does the led light works only with solar power?

The watch is powered by a solar charging battery. As the battery discharges and gets very low, in order to still work until totally depleted, it will shut down certain features to conserve as much power as it can. One of the things that it will do is shut down the led light. It has to go extremely low and it takes a while tor that to happen. I haven't let my watch near any light for about 2 months and it is still fully charged. Please note fully charge your when you first get it. I usually leave my watch on a window sill for a day and it is good to go. Love Casio, have 3 solar powered watches and they all are great and work very well.

Is this watch waterproof to 200 meters

This is a theoretical reinforced waterproof 20 BAR for daily life, but I don't recommend deep sea diving. 20 BAR does not mean 200 meters

Does the Japanese import watch have English day display?

Yes. Mine is completely in English. All modes, displays, etc.
