Does it have non-slip surface to prevent it from sliding during the sleep?

While I don’t sleep with it (I use it during the day for support while sitting up) it stays where I put it. I doesn’t slide around at all.

Does each of the 6 pillows have a removable zippered cover for washing?

Yes - each pillow comes with a zipper.

will this work without being pushed up against a wall or headboard?

My pillow is up against my bed post. I do not know if it will work without being up against something.
