I've only used the luggage on one trip of four plane flights, but it seems to be a durable fabric that is similar to a thick duffel bag. It's really easy to roll and even when fully loaded it only tipped if I yanked it too hard when I started walking. I rolled it over thresholds and up and down curb cuts without problems. The bags come with over the shoulder straps and I used those as a handle for pulling. It holds A LOT. Like a Mary Poppins' kind of bag. I got clothes for 10 days, 4 pairs of shoes, 29 books, a sales banner, 20 pieces of PVC pipe to make a banner display, 6 small folded up cardboard boxes, a 6 ft tablecloth, and two dozen other miscellaneous things in it. It weighed 48 lb when I was done packing. What to know - it has little internal structure. If you don't completely fill it to the first or second zipped level it is just like a giant duffle bag, and everything inside will roll around when it's tossed about by baggage handlers. There's no internal way to secure things in place like there is in a suitcase that might have straps inside. In addition, once you put something in the bottom, you are not going to be able to get that thing out of the bottom until you empty the entire suitcase. If you don't intend to unpack when you arrive at your destination, this may not be the right luggage. And a couple additional thoughts. I like it enough that I definitely want to keep it. I think I may purchase some stiff plastic mats, like the kind that go under office chairs on wood floors, and cut them to be the size of all the sides, and then use the kind of velcro tape that has a sticky back to secure them in place. Then I can remove the panels when I'm ready to collapse the bag for storage. This will give a little bit more structure when I'm loading the bag and a little bit more protection on a trip. And if it's not full enough when I'm done packing, I'm going to grab a couple pillows to put on the top to fill up the space because who doesn't like their own pillows when they're on vacation anyway.

This bag has saved me countless times. I have glided sometimes 50lbs + in this bag, and it has very very smooth castor wheels on the bottom. I have loaded this bag with groceries, bird seeds, clothes with shoes and electrics on top of that. If your packing is very heavy, the wheels may get caught in a sidewalk crack or elevator gap, and then topple over. The aide handles help to replace it back into its wheels. When allow this luggage to c I ask down hill, it will get up so much soeed- don't loose your grip. I never let it coast too far away. To steer this bag, I let it proceed only a few steps of distance, always keeping it close. I'm surprised that this works so well. When I'm finished, it collapses under my loveseat sofa.

I needed a large adjustable bag to take a bunch of stuff to my daughter and her family in Spain. I opened it to its full size - way too large for my needs, then I zipped it up to medium size, still too large. I ended up using the smallest size. It’s easy to change the sizes by using the zippers and its wheels made it pretty easy to handle- I checked it on three flights and it came through fine. My only slightly negative comment is that it’s pretty big, larger than I expected- I could have managed with a smaller bag but this one’s good for packing a LOT! Delivered promptly.

Pros: lightweight, stores compactly, sturdy zippers, large capacity, sufficient handles for lifting including one on the bottom. Cons: opens from the top, long reach to the bottom when expanded; poor maneuverability when filled to capacity, tendency to lean; unpacking is like an archeological dig.. This is not a touring bag, not good if you have to walk the bag on city streets any distance and definitely not on cobblestones. Not the bag for multiple hotel changes. But to get a lot of stuff from Point A to Point B it worked a charm. It met my need perfectly! 49 lbs of contents flown with nary a problem. I recommend for that purpose.

honestly after reading so many reviews on this and similar bags, i didn’t have high hopes for this surviving a trip home from japan. but boy was i wrong! we packed it in an carry on for the ride there because we didn’t bring a suitcase of any kind. it folds up so small and compact and it’s light and easy to carry. we were able to slowly open it up until we needed full capacity once we were ready to head home and it survived quite the long journey! we used a suitcase strap just for extra security, but we probably didn’t even need it. no tips, zippers fully intact, the bottom didn’t break and the wheels were fine! it does roll a little funky when it’s all the way open and full of stuff, i recommend packing all the heavy stuff at the bottom to help with that. all in all im impressed and satisfied with how it worked for us. i’ll be using it again and a suitcase that i can pack inside all my other ones for future trips across the globe!

I've been using this Suitcase for 4 months now. I flew from the US to the UK with it, and then travelled around the UK as a house sitter. There are definitely things I love about it but there are also things that annoy me intensely. PROS: - I love how adjustable it is. The option to change the suitcase's dimensions depending on how much you are carrying is very useful, especially if you find that certain trips need less or more contents. - It can hold A LOT. - It's very sturdy and durable. As I said, I have used it constantly, moving from destination to destination and it's still in one piece. CONS: - The spinner wheels are not really the best option for this style of suitcase. As long as you are on a flat surface, say, at the airport or train station, it runs beautifully. But as soon as you find yourself on uneven pavements it's a bit of a nightmare. It tries to change direction constantly, and ends up feeling like walking a willful dog, rather than pulling a suitcase. It can be exhausting if you are taking a mile-long walk to your destination. - You really need to pack strategically because anything that sits at the bottom of the bag can only be reached by emptying it. So, in short, if you are simply travelling from airport to airport and then to a single destination, this is an excellent choice. But if you will be dragging it across miles of sidewalk, maybe pick again. It will eventually piss you off.

Love this suitcase because it expands. The only thing I wish is it has a handle

I have been using this luggage for 2 years now. I have the cheapest, original version of it. I love this luggage, especially for its versatility. We took this as an empty bag inside our carryon when we went to Japan. We were able to fit so many goodies. The quality of the fabric is amazing. As for stability, it depends on how you pack it. We put heavy items on the bottom, but we also fill all of the space so there are no weird gaps. It’s those gaps that causes the bag to wobble. Unfortunately there is no structure, but that’s kind of the point with this type of luggage. I will say, most flights don’t like it as a carry on. Even though it meets the requirements, I had multiple flight attendants make me check it in at the gate because they felt it was too bulky.
