I've been a runner since 2014, and I've noticed a lot of people talking about foam rollers, so I decided to give one a try. The Fit Nation Foam Roller seemed to have some good reviews on Amazon, so I chose that one. I have to say that I was quite skeptical about the idea, but with so many positive comments about their use, I was interested to at least give it a chance. After all, it is not an expensive thing. It arrived nicely packaged, and very quickly. I decided to give it a try straight away. The instructions are comprehensive, and very easy to follow. Now I have to admit that it really does work. I always spend some time stretching after a run, but my muscles often still felt a bit tight on rest days. Now using the roller before and after runs my leg muscles feel much better. I assume this works in a similar way to a sports massage, I don't know, but it is very effective. If you are a runner, then I strongly recommend you to try this excellent product :)

Having started weight training a few months ago I find myself getting various aches and pains after a workout, especially the legs and back, so after trying various stretching techniques and getting backrubs off the wife, I decided I needed to try something else as that just wasn't cutting it.So I bought one of these, it takes a little getting used and can even be a little painful and uncomfortable to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes an essential part of your workout. It's good for stretching your back and kneading out the knots in those hard to reach places. The day after a workout is now much less painful.The roller itself is of good quality and much firmer than I thought it was going to be, it's small enough to tuck out of the way but big enough to be of good use. It feels very sturdy and I have no concerns about putting my weight on it when laying down (13 1/2 stone.) All in all, very happy with the product.

I bought this roller as I work out most days and I was fed up of using the ones at the gym. As a female I must admit the girly colours attracted me to the product and I purchased one in pink. Delivery was prompt and the roller came with easy to follow instructions which were emailed to me. The roller itself is firm and sturdy. The grooves are strategically placed. I have been using the roller pre and post work put and I have no concerns. I also think it may withstand my dog picking it up every now and again without being totally destroyed. The only negative is I would have like the inner part to be black. White cardboard gets mucky easily
