Review: Quality case, playing surface, dice, and discs. - I love this so much more than another one I bought. The other one had a hard wooden case and the playing surface was wood or hard cardboard nd hd a very tinny sound when the dice were dropped on it. This one had leather-look case and the playing surface is felt with faux leather triangular places o rest the playing discs. It's a softer sound when rolling the dice and feels more expensive than it is. It's perfect for my 5-yr old grandson to start learning about game strategy and practice counting. At first, he very enthusiastically used the cup to "toss" the dice, resulting in many times the dice ended up on the floor. But he got the hang of gently dropping the dice onto the playing surface to keep them where they belong. And he stays interested in playing the whole game to the end. He liked being able to land on my vulnerable discs and send them to "jail" (the "wall" down the center of the open box). It is a very nice set, with quality case and playing discs and dice. I highly recommend it.
Review: My review - A very affordable and handsome backgammon game. Pleasing colors and quality game pieces.
