Arrived prompt.These was a great price at under £9 and fitted my standard mixer tap perfectly.Its a simple job just turn your water off taps on to drain water away then depending on your tap layout either lift off tap tops or release screw and to get access to your tap cartridges. then simple use a spanner to undo cartridges and fit new ones.I always put a small drop of grease on new threads to prevent them going rusted or sticking for if you have to renew them in a few years time.

The valve fitted well with no leaks and the splines matched the handle. However, the supplied screws were too short, so the old corroded screws had to be used again. Otherwise, a good quality valve.

I replaced my cold tap, reassembled everything and only then discovered that the cold one of this pair is anti-clockwise and I needed clockwise. Fine, I took everything apart again and used the hot one from this pair instead - which is clockwise-opening. I wish I had checked first rather than assuming that cold always equals clockwise.Other than that, these did the job. No more drips from the cold tap.

Whilst the tap valve was well priced and easy to fit, the resulting spray from the tap is so wide that you have to have the tap inside whatever you are filling otherwise it sprays outside the receptacle: glass, cup, kettle etc.
