Bought this for my lb (age 3) as he's been suffering with a chesty cough and struggling to sleep at night. I'd read that a cool mist humidifier can help. I have a Vicks vapouriser which helps a little but wasn't helping as much this time. Looked online and most were out of my budget. Came across this & despite the mostly positive reviews I was still sceptical. But I figured for the price it's worth a try, we both desperately need a good night's sleep. I put it on when we go up at the end of the day and run a bath etc and switch it off when I go to bed. For the 2nd night running he hasn't coughed at all. I'm genuinely surprised, but so happy. It's so versatile too, light on or off, solid or changing colours, dull or bright light, continuous or intermittent mist, add your own scent (oil) or not. I added 1 small drop of tea tree oil. Can be used as a nightlight without the mist too. Would definitely recommend.

This diffuser is excellent. I bought it to use in my bedroom that always feels stuffy and airless. I switched it on at bed time with a little lavender essential oil and literally with in a second or two it was producing a very fine lightly scented mist. Although it is only small I was surprised at just how efficient it is and it definitely made a big difference to the feeling in the room. Because it is small it's so easy to move from room to room and work its magic. It is also very simple to use and comes with a little measuring cup. I use on the 30 second setting so it is on for 30 and then off for 30 and filled to its maximum amount lasts right through the night which was something else I had not expected. It has two easy to use function buttons on the front and that's it, so simple to use. I'm a person who likes my bedroom to be quiet and the gentle noise it makes does not disturb me at all. Last but not least are the different but all of them soft colour changes, I love the pale lilac colour for night time, although the colours are optional. All in all I love this little machine and will be buying another one to keep in my lounge, also in my opinion it would make a great gift too. I highly recommend this little diffuser and is well worth the 5 stars I gave it.

An absolutely wonderful little diffuser. I have for some time been longing to get one of these, after shopping at Muji and seeing their own brand's version. I'm so glad I finally took the plunge. This diffuser looks wonderful in a room and somehow adds a touch of extra comfort and happiness, simply by diffusing some aroma and some humidifying mist. I admit I was at first quite hesitant because of the colours changing - worrying that this may look tacky - but in person, I couldn't be more wrong. It actually looks really lovely as it cycles through the colours. The settings are great - mist, no mist, intermittent mist, and no light/colour, changing cycling light/colour, and fixed (your choice) light and colour. It's simple to fill up - simply unscrew the cap, add 100ml of water and 5 or so drops of essential oil. I also realised that by holding the mist button in for a few seconds, you can actually turn the entire diffuser off (so you needn't unplug it). When the water is below the recommended level, the diffuser simply switches itself off - a great safety figure. You do, however, need to clean it every 5 or so uses to ensure it stays in good working order, which is a bit of a hassle. The company recommends using citric acid to clean, but I have seen that some other people are using a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. Overall, I'm so glad I took the plunge. I really do adore it!

I have been using this diffuser for a little under a month, and I am SO happy with it. Very easy to set up. Just fill water up to stated line, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil (I tend to go overboard with how much I use!), pop the lid back on, twist close and then select light and mist mode (constant or 30 sec intermittent). Each coloured light comes with a dim and bright function and there is a mode which runs through all the colours (you can have no light if you choose to) In terms of noise, you can hear it steaming and some water droplets dripping back into the water base, but not too loud at all - I don't sleep with it on being safety conscious, but you could easily sleep through the noise. Constant steam will leave little water droplets on the surface it's on, so make sure it's not fabric or something if you're worried about it getting a bit damp. Reading other reviews about it stopping working. Just be gentle with the device and don't get certain parts wet as per the instructions and you'll be fine. Just about to buy another one for my other half who couldn't stop playing with it at my house haha! Update: April 2020 Since November 2019, I have bought 2 more! One for a friend for stress relief (so she can diffuse lavender etc and use the ‘mood’ lights) and one for my mum. My mum suffers with asthma and has found that sleeping with it on whilst it has Olbas oil or eucalyptus inside helps with her breathing.

Great little Humidifier! This is small, very quiet and has made a difference to my son's breathing and.blocked stuffy nose, as he likes to sleep with darkness I haven't really used the light function but there are lots of colours of different brightnesses to choose from, and you can set the mist to constant or 30 second on and 30 seconds off I have another Humidifier in my room that is practically identical but mine has an annoying beep everyone you press the buttons, this is much better as it's silent! I have just ordered some Lavender oil to try in this as a diffuser but haven't used that function yet. As a humidifier alone I highly recommend this, compared to other bulky noisy ones this is great, the auto shut off once the water has all gone is fabulous! If I had to give any niggles then getting the top off to top up the water can be hard to grip sometimes and if you wanted it to last over 4 or 5 hours you would need a bigger one but it worked perfectly for what I wanted...

UPDATED POST After using it for a month im still impressed with the way diffusers work (generally) but sadly this one is now extremely difficult to open. At times i can't open it at all to refill. Which means the idea is great but poor quality. I have been looking for essential oil diffusers for a while. Sadly they are not as popular in UK as they are in America. So most of recommended brands are not available over here. This is the first one I have bought. It's hard to say how good it is as have no comparison yet (im planning to buy another two from different brands to see which one is best for me). Happy so far though. I love essential oils and don't like using chemical air fresheners. I add a few drops of oil to the diffuser and it spreads the fragrance nicely but sadly can't smell it in my living room too much probably will need two of these for a bigger space. I use it at the moment in my daughter's bedroom. She lives it. She suffers asthma so i make sure i use right fragrance to help her sleep. You can hear it but it's not disturbing and can be easily used throughout the night. Sorry for only 4 stars but as said i have no comparison yet. Worth the price.

This is a wonderful product that I absolutely love! It's small, compact and incredibly easy to use. It comes packaged in a plain brown box containing the main unit, a handy plastic jug for filling the unit with water and a couple of drops of your favourite essential oils, a plug that attaches discretely to the base of the unit and a set of operating instructions. There are two buttons on the unit, one for 'light', the other for 'mist'. The diffuser uses ultrasonic waves to instantly vaporise water and essential oils in the tank to produce a cool, fragrant mist. There are various settings for dispensing the aroma through the mist, from continuously on, to interval bursts of 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off. Coupled with a variety of soothing light settings and colours it really creates a very pleasant, relaxing environment. This is my first aroma dispenser and I'm now a total convert and just wish that I'd got one a long time ago. It just completely changes the whole mood and atmosphere of any room it's placed in and is simply a brilliant device at the sort of price that means you can have a number in different rooms. Highly recommended.

This is my second diffuser I have brought from this company. I loved my first one so much I brought another for the upstairs. Ignore product reviews about weak smells, if you buy good quality oils, you will get a good quality smell throughout the day I use about 5 drops of oil for the day. I put my diffuser on intermittent diffuse and it lasts about 10 hours. my son is 4 and we set this up for him when he has a cold to keep him congestion free. Albas oil, lavender or you can buy a special oil called breath easy keep him comfortable all night long. The diffuser switches of when low on water so no worrys about leaving it on overnight. Everybody who comes to my house comments on this diffuser, many people want one but refuse to pay the £50.00 price tags in the shops. I think 3/4 of my friends have ordered one because they like mine so much. If you want a reasonably priced long lasting diffuser try this one, you won't be sorry. Jut buy good quality oils. I don't really use the lights on mine as I tend to use mine more in the day, but my little boy does, he likes it to switch between all the colours, it does look pretty in his bedroom.
