Go to toy for kids and adults
This always comes out when the grand kids are here and they love it. They bash away singing along and I have learned a few simple tunes which they love to dance and sing too. Baby Shark is a favourite, and the adults cant leave it alone. The main thing is it is tuned correctly and plays correctly. Recommended.

After reading the available reviews I plumped for this one and I am glad that I did
Ordered this to add another dimension to my songwriting. I was reluctant to spend a fortune on one as I wasn't sure that it warranted such an outlay and conversely I was not keen on buying one that was more of a toy than a musical instrument. after reading the available reviews I plumped for this one and I am glad that I did. This is the perfect compromise. It is inexpensive yet still sounds fantastic. All of the notes ring out perfectly and as far as I can tell the intonation is spot on. I would not hesitate to recommend this for anyone looking to start learning the glockenspiel; a great introduction to tuned percussion!

Great value little instrument. Looks like a toy bit makes a nice sound.
I like the fact that itโs self contained. Itโs got a great tone and seems to be quite well tuned. Also quite loud. The mallets are a horrible plastic but cheap enough to replace with wooden. One or two of the keys didnโt ring very well hit it only took a light tug to pull them of the pads a little. All in all, a great little instrument and a lot of fun. You can get some really pretty tunes out of it.

Just great. Exactly as specified
Just great. Exactly as specified, makes a good noise with the beaters provided. Highly portable. Would've liked to know that the keys have engravings on them though, as they aren't the actual notes but are instead the do-ray-me scale which is actually a bit off-putting if you know the notes already.

Lovely sound
Really bright pure tone and in tune with this glockenspiel way more than a toy. I've seen a lot of children's xylophones and glocks which sound awful... would definitely recommend it
