Complete magic - in a can.
Unbelievably effective in helping control our 2 rescue dogs. Within 24 hours we have regained a happy, calm house and much happier dogs too. I have no connection with the company and haven't been paid in product or money for writing this. I am only writing this review because it might help others in a similar (desperate) position to me. It has genuinely changed our lives within 24 hours of using and I never would have believed it possible without witnessing it first hand. Our two rescued spaniels were becoming seriously out of control. Being rescues, they both have behavioural issues as you'd expect from their lives before we adopted them (one was kept in a cage for 2 years on a puppy farm). Since we adopted the second spaniel (hoping the company would help both dogs ) their behaviour together got worse and worse in the mornings and were almost impossible to deal with trying to get them out of the door for their walk as they were so overwhelmed with excitement. Obviously I was very wary of anything frightening them or making them even more anxious than they already were (having spent so long building up their confidence) - but I was desperate and was beginning to think I was failing them and that they were becoming too much for me to cope with any more. My sister recommended Pet Corrector on the phone and, whilst still talking to her I ordered a can from Amazon. Firstly I used it to stop them from scratching at the door and whining once they'd been put to bed. One firm 'NO!โ followed by a short spray and I didn't hear a squeak from them again until the morning. I repeated this in the early morning (5:45am) when they started scratching and banging at the door again. They havenโt scratched at the door again - and for the first time in two years Iโm now able to sleep through to 7:00am in the morning instead of 5:45am - YAY! They still go nuts when I go through to see them in the morning but its totally normal behaviour as they are so pleased to see me and its all fine. Secondly I used it to help getting them out the door in the mornings. I used it once to stop their behaviour crescendoing further (always a firm โNO!โ followed by a short spray) and I have been able to get them into the car without incident (this is just unbelievable as getting this is normally when they are at their most out of control). In the car I used it once when one of them climbed through from the back. She has never done this again. And when the noise levels started crescendoing again I merely showed them the can and all was calm. Since the first 24 hours of use I haven't needed to use the spray again. If things start building up I merely show them the can and things immediately calm down. I don't know how it works but it just does. If I had to guess I think maybe the hissing noise helps break their over stimulated train of thought due to something primal within. They don't like it for sure, but they aren't terrified of it either. All I know for certain is that as a result of breaking the cycle of this overwhelming behaviour, both dogs are now so much calmer and happier. And so am I :)

Effective, humane, and easy-to-use training aid
The PET CORRECTOR Dog Trainer (200ml) is a simple yet very effective tool for correcting unwanted behaviours like barking, jumping, or food stealing. It works instantly with a short burst of air that grabs your dogโs attention without causing any harm or distress. After just a few uses, my dog quickly learned to stop certain actions the moment I reached for the can โ it really gets the message across. The design is straightforward and safe, with a firm spray thatโs easy to control. I also appreciate that it doesnโt rely on harsh methods or physical correction. Used properly, it reinforces positive training and helps redirect your dog calmly and quickly. Itโs an excellent behavioural support aid for owners who want fast, gentle results. Just follow the directions and always pair it with praise when your dog behaves correctly. Highly recommended for responsible training.

Works a treat! But use alongside reward-based training. Other-wise your dog/puppy will ignore it.
I'd suggest buying the smaller can first, to see if it works with your dog. Also, try other training techniques first - because it might be you who is inconsistent with the training, and not your dog! Also, some techniques work with some dogs, and doesn't with others. My puppy was a nightmare out on walks, with so many new and interesting things to discover! I still use a harness when out, but when she was younger it was simply not enough. I couldn't control her what-so-ever, but using this she learned in roughly two days that she can't pull on the lead. It was also good for her barking. She is good in her crate at night time, but she would whine and bark if you left the room during the day. Before the pet corrector spray, I would simply wait for her to be quiet, and then re-enter - but it would rarely happen. She was that persistent! But when I got this, whenever I went into the kitchen for something, and she would start up, a quick spray of this and she would stop for a little while. Now she's completely content with chewing her toys, or trying to befriend the cat, when I leave the room. I DO use reward based training, I don't just rely on the pet corrector spray. Other-wise you'd be using it constantly and it will lose its effect. Plus, as I said earlier, do try other training techniques first - you will probably find something that works for at least one problem! I didn't use it for jumping up, or biting. Which did mean a lot of getting up and leaving the room for a couple of minutes (good exercise, lol!). I hardly ever use it now, except when she tries to eat things outside that she shouldn't (she's an adolescent now, and has 'selective hearing'). It's also good if we're out and about and a dog becomes quite aggressive towards her, or a bit too friendly! - just the other day a persistent male puppy (left to his own devices in the park!!) kept trying to mount her, and was ignoring her warning growls. Used the pet corrector spray, and I managed to get his attention. Just kept telling him NO, in a stern voice, afterwards and that did the trick. Owner was miles away, didn't even bother coming back over to collect him, or apologise!!!

Works wellโฆat first.
We got this to stop our dogs fighting when someone knocks at the door. At first it worked like a dream and we were very happy. However, they soon got use to it and it no longer works for them. The price is a little too high as well, as itโs simply compressed air and runs out fast.

It's a miracle in a bottle!
A week ago I was reading these reviews thinking "surely this can't be that good? It won't work on my dog" but I was desperate so decided to give it a try. We got Jess in January and she's been hard work, we've had several dogs before so we know what to expect from puppies but Jess would just cry for attention constantly, especially in her crate at night. We tried many things such as providing toys, exercising her (which sadly became difficult a month after getting her when covid-19 became a thing), we even tried one of those collars which deliver a vibration when she cried or barked - it was useless. Yesterday this spray turned up and the change in her, I'm not kidding, was almost immediate. She'd been playing in the garden then was fed and let out before we put her in her crate to settle for the night and like clockwork she started to cry so we used this spray near her and she seemed to be a little startled, but immediately lay down. She continues to stay there for most of the night, only briefly crying when she needed to go out to the toilet. Today we have used the spray only a couple of times and she has responded well both times. The amazing thing is she has almost instantly dropped most of her bad behaviour and 24 hours later she's like a different dog. Honestly I cannot rate this product highly enough. These last few months haven't been easy and having a demanding puppy as well as young children has caused a lot of stress but we may finally have turned a corner now thanks to this amazing product. (sadly doesn't work on children)

Instant effect.
I was very dubious about this product but thought it was worth a try. I am an experienced dog owner having had six German Shepherds over a thirty five year period. I consider myself to be a good dog trainer and never had any problems with any of my GSDs. My present dog is a sixteen month old intact male yellow Labrador. He is bright as a button and very energetic. His training has been straight forward except for him being reluctant to walk at heal until he has had major exercise. A friend recommended the training spray claiming that she had used it and had been impressed. I took my Lab out for a walk and he started pulling and would not walk at heal. I used the spray once with one short blast facing down in front of his chest. I did not let him see the spray. It had the desired effect immediately with him stopping his pulling and following my instruction to walk at heal. I praised him for walking to heal and he stopped his pulling entirely for the rest of the walk. I have had him out several more times and he continues to walk at heal without pulling at all. A couple of times when he looked as if about to pull I made a hissing sound and showed the flat of my hand low down in front of him. I am astonished at how well the spray has worked (so far) and am happy to recommend it to anyone. One important thing to realise is that this spray can be used as a training aid. Do not think that it is a magic potion and will work by itself.

Simple Solutions can Succeed
Who would have thought it - a red can, filled with air - looking rather like a small fire extinguisher - could stop a dog in it's crazy tracks? Well this does the job. We have a lively Springer Spaniel puppy who was dancing around my feet on the staircase, chewing my shoes, of course, just being a puppy; nevertheless dangerous and bothersome. How much more sensible than shouting at or hitting the little chap, a quick squirt from the can, not at him but above him, gives him a real surprise. Then, and this is the secret, you must reward him for stopping his naughty tricks, as if he had thought of it himself! Apparently you can squirt it 150 times before it runs out. For us the mere sight of the can is now a deterrent. I should have one in every room, or at least a little version in my pocket. Pet Corrector Spray 50ml and 200ml (Size: 50mls) The funny thing is that it doesn't actually frighten the dog, just puzzles it. For owners of young puppies their short but regular periods of sheer excited devilment and mayhem may ring a bell. You can't always walk them into exhaustion and anyway that would be bad for their developing bones so you need to be able to cope with wicked ways in the home. My only suggestion - it doesn't really need a can top, when you need it, you want it to work straightaway so leave it around without the lid.

An excellent tool when used consistently enough
Bought initially to train jumping up out of an excitable 7month-old puppy. It didn't work for that, but mainly because it was difficult to apply consistently on our part - because the pet corrector wasn't always to hand when we needed it. But I will return to that with a concerted effort, and I will try it barking too. But it has been amazing for reinforcing heel work. Our puppy is now 9 months. She walked perfectly on a loose lead when she was very little, but gradually she started getting new ideas, and stopped listening to the clicker training. Eventually I realised she was pulling me about. A few sessions of with a few bursts of the pet corrector, timed perfectly to coincide with her starting to pull at the end of the lead, followed with a heel command and click and reward and she is back to her best. Walking has become a pleasure. She knew all along what she should be doing but she is a willful breed and individual. I now reinforce it by occasionally taking the pet corrector with me, or otherwise a sharp 'ch' sound from my mouth. It is better for her too as she is no long pulling through her collar or harness. On the sound of the can - it doesn't alarm her but it does alert her. E.g. She is not frightened of it but is wary of it. She looks to me for reassurance/instruction and gets it so the reward then comes without distress. I'm going to try it next for barking but that will, I suspect have the same problem as the jumping up (of having the pet corrector, clicker and treats to hand, and of having the right presence of mind when I need it).

Absolutely stunned at how quickly this solved a massive prey drive issue
Whoa. I'm amazed that this actually worked! I adopted a 1.5 year old stray dog with a SUPER strong prey drive, and he has been fixating and wanting to chase my cats. I bought this as a last resort. Literally used this corrector twice when he looked at the cat, and now they are in bed beside each other and he turned to face the wall when my cat jumped up. It seems two quick 'shhh' sounds of the compressed air has cured a HUGE issue in my home, now he isn't even looking at the cats, let alone chasing them. I'm obviously not ready to leave them alone together, but this is a MASSIVE step in the right direction, and frankly I'm stunned at the effect the noise of this can had on my dog, and his reactions toward the cats. I'm going to carry this everywhere to teach him not to jump or nip etc. I scoffed at the price of this initially for a can of compressed air, but if this is the effect it has after two quick uses, then it was 100% worth the money and I'll buy more when/if this one ever runs out during our training. Thank you so much, to whoever thought up this solution. Brilliant, and corrects the dog without any discomfort or force etc...just a brilliant audible corrector (don't ever spray it at them, they just need to hear the hiss and they will react to the noise immediately).

Quiet at last!!!!!
I bought this product and another after reading the reviews for excessive dog barking. My little female chihuahua has a very shrill bark and once she gets started she just won't stop. We have tried many things and can't believe the results after one use. This sound really startled her and she stopped barking immediately and wanted to leave the room. I praised her after she got quiet and now all I have to do is show her the can and she stops whatever she is doing which is barking. I did buy another product and it worked as well but this is my preferred product as the other is a spray and I worry about using it too often due to her tiny size which is under 4 pounds. Since we have used this product I don't have barking issues when the doorbell rings or barking when people come in. The first time she has been quiet in almost a year. We live in a very green woody area and she doesn't even bark at the squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks that visit our backyard on a regular basis. Now she just stands and looks at them and once in a while she will grumble a little at them. Before using this product she would bark for an hour if I didn't stop her but would start up again as soon as I stopped trying to make her stop. It was just a never ending exercise in trying my patience. Now life is bliss as all I have to do on the rare occasions that she does bark is show her the can and she stops IMMEDIATELY! Even in the car she has stopped barking at people parking next to us. Again, she does grumble under her breath and I say Quiet and she usually stops. I do allow the grumbling for a moment or two as she is female and as a female I understand the importance of having the last word. LOL. All in all I love this product and would encourage anyone that is facing this issue or other problems as the instructions cover other behavioral problems to just try this product. I couldn't be happier or more excited about this product. It is safe to use on my 3.5# chihuahua so I know it would be safe for larger dogs. I have noticed that the spray noise is increased if you continually push down on the button but my little girl stops as soon as the first little hiss comes out of the can. I did push it all the way down once and it gave a very loud hiss that startled even me. Because of this we are much happier and quieter. Great product
