You can only fill a few millimetres at a time, otherwise it takes ages to dry & harden off, and may also crack if it shrinks. It might be better to use the ordinary Polyfilla for the bulk fill and then use the fine-surface one to finish off. I doubt if either would bond to the polystyrene. The hardened filler is only as strong as the material it is put into, so if the polystyrene flexes it would break away. It is mainly for wood, plaster and so on. Equally I can't think of anything else that might do the job, because the solvents in such materials as two-part polyester fillers could dissolve the foam. Might be worth doing a test patch first, where it doesn't show. Hope that helps. **Q: How long does it take to dry after you apply it?** A: Depending on the thickness and temperature in the room it will be touch dry after about 30 minutes.. I recommend leaving for 24 hours before sanding back to ensure it has cured fully. **Q: Will this work on uvpc window sill?** A: Basically, this is a fine grade of plaster filler intended for repairing cracks in plaster . It won't stick to plastic, although it could fill a gap between a plastic window sill and the adjacent plaster, but it isn't a flexible type of product. I was going to buy some more today but didn't. The product itself is excellent. It's very easy to use and it works very well. You can use it to fill surprisingly deep gaps without having to build it up in layers. It doesn't shrink at all as it dries. It sticks to a multitude of surfaces. It's rock hard when it dries and doesn't crack even on surfaces that are walked on. It can be painted over. It works just fine outdoors, in the rain and in fairly large variations in temperature. It's pretty much perfect for a wide variety of jobs. The only drawback I found is the overly optimistic statement of drying time. A thin layer will dry in the stated drying time, but you're probably not using this product in a thin layer. It's intended for deep gaps, hence the name, and those will take at least a day to dry. But that's more a drawback in the labelling than the product itself. So why didn't I buy more today? Because the price on Amazon is now about 2.5 times the price for the same product elsewhere and that is ridiculous. I paid ~£8 for it from Amazon in July and that's the usual price both then and now.
