The media could not be loaded. Worked immediately on plugging the USB dongle. Few people think the dongle is missing from the back of the packaging. However, it's neatly situated inside the battery housing so can be transported safely with laptop etc. This is a great design idea for those who take their mouse out or have computer where different users have different mouse needs.The mouse is larger than I expected but that could be a bonus as gripping my smaller one causes pain after a time. My small under size '7' hand just covers it. Any bigger would be a reach for me.I was disappointed, at first, with the surface feel because I mistakenly believed it had rubberised coating but must have read this on another model.Wheel is rubberised.Mine came with a good quality duracell battery.Speed of scrolling, double click speed & response were set to medium & are easily changed through your computer, laptop etc. I altered my speeds and is perfect for my needs at an affordable price.

It move the pointer on my screen.It clicks on a web site's 'soft' buttons.Being radio it does not have a cable tail.Finding the dongle and extracting it is not easy for elderly fingers and failing eyesight.Why do manufacturers delight in constructing items from Black plastic with all accessories in black plastic?It really is frustrating to try and deal with modern life when you are a nonagenarian trying to live as independently as possible but reliant on the good nature and patience of others.Even logging into Amazon is becoming increasingly difficult as dual factor authentication is needed, yet no-one considers the effect this has on the older customer who may not be as able bodied or fast thinking as those 60 years my junior.

When I installed my NEW wireless mouse, Type:M185 P/N: 810-009526 S/N: 2408LZX87918, everything was working okay, until I tried to type a letter in my “Ms Word”, NO text would show up, not even in the search bar. I was replacing my old M185 with this one, as my old one’s “Scroller Wheel” would not work, but everything else would work including typing text. So why does this new one not allow me to type text. I have already sent away for another to see if that works. My old one works fine, except for the “Scroller Wheel”, so why won’t this one (same model) work? I bought another M185 P/N:810-009536, S/N: 2418AP02CNM8, the same thing happened. I tried out my old laptop wireless mouse model M235 and it worked okay on my desktop. So weird! Anybody have any ideas?
