Q: Why is this item recommended for hibiscrub 500ml and says add items together. This is for a 5 litre bottle not 500mls it's bigger than the bottle.

Totally agree no good for a small bottle like that someone is trying to waste your money

Q: Could you confirm please if this pump is suitable for the 4 litre dog shampoo it is advertised along side. The pump states it’s for a 5ltr container

I don't know if it is suitable for a 4 litre container as I used it on a five litre one. However I would just like to point out that when I tried to undo it to fit it in the container it was so tightly screwed together but as it did come apart all the pieces went everywhere and I had to work out how it went back together which I have not done as I can't get it to pump out of the correct part!

Q: Is this suitable for dispensing thick glue

I use it for dispensing thick liquid soap, and it's a messy job even with that as you have to screw it down to close it, and it dispenses another load out as you do it - all down the sides of the container. As you have to twist it to get it to lock, it goes everywhere. It's unpleasant with soap. I would imagine it would be far worse with glue. I only use this over the bath so I can wash everything out afterwards, but not sure if you would be able to get rid of glue quite so easily. Once this container is empty, I won't bother using it again with the next one. I'll just use a funnel and tip the container. Depending on the type of glue, you may also find that it dries in the pump preventing any more coming out next time. My advise would be to avoid it.
