I'm a professional photographer and I've used most of the professional art papers on the market. I have recently undertaken an extensive personal project. I know how expensive fine quality printing can be, so I was looking for a good quality but affordable option. I've recently done some test prints with this paper and the results really are excellent. Bear in mind it is a very bright white paper so your photographs will have a cooler look to them (Canon's premium matte paper is much warmer). This is quite a lightweight paper which I like, ideal for placing in a print portfolio book if you have a large number of prints to contain - the book won't become too heavy. Review: Good Quality and Great Photos - I have an Epsom CX6600 printer and until now, I had always used Epson inks with Epson paper. This is what you are told to do by the manufactures to get the best possible prints. However, of late, Epson costs have been going up and up - and there are so many other compatible products on the market. I therefore decided to change my inks and paper. This quality and feel of this paper is superb - and it has a nice look about it. I am currently using Epson compatible inks in my printer, and with this paper, I have seen no deterioration at all in the quality of my printing - more so with photos. Good price and so much cheaper than other "quality" paper that in actual fact is the same as this. Unlikely that I will be going back to Epson products unless there is a reduction in price. You want to print on the whiter side (always). If in doubt about which side is which - take out 2 sheets from pack and turn 1 over to compare side by side. You’ll clearly spot which side is brighter. I also use a sharpie and write ‘print side’ on the face of the clear envelope so I can put any sheets I didn’t print on back in the envelope the right way up. Hope this helps. **Q: Is this paper compatible with canon mx495 printer?** A: I'm sorry, I don't know. Better to contact Canon direct,( if you can find a contact number/address for them.) **Q: Is this paper blank on both sides i.e it doesn't have the Canon logo printed on one side, thanks.** A: You can actually print on the wrong side, my Canon printer copes with that very well. Yes, the colours are duller, and the paper is not white, but for the inside of a greetings/Christmas card, that doesn't matter to me. **Q: Is this paper white without any prints on the back?** A: Yes, it is white, matte coated on the front and plain on the back.
