Easy insulation, excellent value for money. My dogs fits through the door easily. The flapn opeining is great and the mental strip hold the door in place even on windy days. Very sturdy

Excellent pet flap. It’s sturdy, I like the little pet window, and the removable flap is great. The price is good but doubled when I had someone in to install it. Well worth having though and my Jack Russell pup loves it… she charges in and out, even in the rain, and jumps on my lap with the dog equivalent of ‘aren’t I clever! Now that deserves a sweetie!!’

Works !!!! Chi X Managed it too !! Medium purchased. It is kind of easy to fit but washers are fiddly to fit in place and it might be generally easier to fit with two people doing it. We have 2 dogs both Chihuahua French Bulldog crosses very different weights and sizes !! see videos they both got the idea super quick. Whilst the bigger dog can do it more easily the smaller 3kg dog can too, it will be whether she chooses too 🤣. Seems a good product for the price point and we will see !!!

Don't want to offend our boy but he's a large cat so this is perfect. He jumps through it with room to spare. Easy to fit. Can be locked when you want to keep your pet in/out.

The cat/dog flap is perfect for my Jack Russell . It’s pretty straightforward too fit . My Jack Russell stands 13 inches from the ground to his shoulders and the size dog flap is a medium i believe and is perfect for him!.

I had one of these for 7 years in my old house. I moved and bought a Petsafe which broke in 6 months, I replaced it, and it broke again. I own a Springer spaniel whose chest depth measurements are on the edge for the medium Petsafe, that combined with his exuberant nature is presumably too much for the Petsafe door so i have now reverted to a Petmate. The swing door is virtually as wide but a cm or two deeper which is better. It comes in 2 halves instead of 4 bits which can be fiddly and the 4 mounting screws are stainless M5 instead of galvanised M4 so are less prone to rust, and more robust. The fittings are also separate from the door area whereas with Petsafe they are behind a flap which just makes it more fiddly to fit. The Petite security door also slots in front ways whereas Petsafe slides in from the top, which with my door is a problem as the dog door has to be mounted between 2 bracing arms so sliding in from the top doesn't work. Both doors work and if you are on a tight budget with a smaller breed the Petsafe is probably fine but overall the Petmate is a superior product.

The removable door. Is difficult to put in place and it is flimsy. I expect it will break. That’s disappointing.

Gutes Teil. Wurde im Nebengebäude eingebaut, da da Zugluft nicht stört. Unsere Border Collie Hündin hat es gleich angenommen. Die Katze geht leider nicht durch.
