Asking for my wife!!** A: No, you won't get any mess from this product. Once it goes on to your hair it fixes quickly and will only come out with shampooing. And your wife will only get it on her fingers if she touches it - after which she can brush or rinse it off. It won't cause any staining, and it won't run if she gets her hair wet. I use it to touch up the grey gap in my parting, and it works brilliantly for that, easily tiding me over one or two weeks, and genuinely no one would guess it was a touch up job. The product works very well to cover my greys, looks flawless if I do it carefully, although does make your hair a little powdery textured. Excellent for me to extend amount of time between dying my hair. Lasts between washes but it is effectively make up for your hair so of course it comes out when you wash your hair, so just reapply afterwards. Lasts a long time for me, 6 months plus. It doesn't transfer onto bed clothes. Downsides are the price is extortionate for a tiny block of product, and don't drop it or knock it as it shatters the product and then it isn't usable, which at the price it is is a big shame! 4 stars only from me because of the downsides, but it does what it says for brown hair.
