JB Weld TRA50133-TEX Plastic Bonder Syringe, Tan, Pack Of 1

I was using it for a near impossible task and I didn't hold up much hope. It was akin to sticking the side of a credit card onto a steel plate with the credit card bearing some weight of it own. If this did not work I would have to order a new part which would and I'll cost nearly 200 Euro. This product is a reasonable price and the reviews are so good that I decided to give it a shot. Getting straight to the point I held it together for the required time. It seemed to stick so it went off to get something for a few minutes and my daughter told me that it fell off. I was very disappointed but I decided to put it back on immediately because it was still tacky, and I held it for longer- much longer because there was no way I could use any clamp to hold it together - the design of the repair did not lend itself to using a clamp. I had to do it by hand. It was like torture but I held on- standing there holding the two pieces together. It seemed to hold well this time, so I added more. I just lay it on heavy on both sides. It worked and it still working some 2 weeks later - in circumstances where there is heavy vibration on the joint and it is outside in the weather. Many adhesives have severe limitations when you're trying to stick plastic, but I found this one very good. It's worth a try.

In the photo, I've used Araldite in the top hook, that I've stuck onto the side of the head of my new paper shredder. The bottom latch came unstuck after a day, as that glue isn't adequate for polyurethane, polycarbonate and a few other plastics, which I suspect the bin is made of. I did a little research and figured that this JB Weld would be the better option and I'm really happy with the outcome. I can now pick up my shredder by the handle on the head and the bin comes with it.

Got it out the packet and the hardener part of it was solid. Product unusable. Waste of money

I let it dry overnight and the next day it held! I used it on a 30 litres poultry waterer with an "unbreakable plastic tank". It would have been difficult to squirt out the right amount but I needed all of it. So I just squeezed out all of it. I'm honestly surprised that it worked. I've used JB weld before but I'm impressed now.

Took so long to harden i gave up, scraped it away and used the gorilla glue version instead

Easy to use, appreciate it coming with a little mixing stick and a mixing tray built into the packaging and you can put it back in the packaging for storage. The cap goes back on easily. Used this on a small plastic bracket on a 94 ford and it feels stronger than the original. I would definitely recommend having this in the toolbox. The price is well worth it. Color is tan like it indicates and the set time of 5mins is great especially if you have to hold it together with your hand then sets in an hr and good to use in less than 24hrs but I still waited 24hrs. Couldn’t be happier
