Excellent cases. Bought theses to replace two 27 year old Samsunit flite cases which are slmost bomb proof. But they are heavier, also the locks were not tsa locks so i assume if the authorities want to look in them then they would just break them open or call me back.These are solid and secure cases and should be good for many a year, they are lighter than my old one and also have four wheels so should be easier to manoeuvre.

These cases seems expensive but they last ages. And saves you time and money in long run. To me its a good investment. Happy with my purchase. And product seems good quality. ( which time will prove )

We started to go abroad for our hols and so decided to invest in some suitcases. I'd heard of Samsonite and the quality of their goods and so we bought two of these. Lightweight but strong and with three locking points. The cases run on four wheels and are easily steered, pushed and pulled. There is an extending wheel handle which makes the pulling of the case very easy.Now to Samsonite's customer care. We have had the cases for three years now when, somehow, one of the ;wheel handles got damaged. I went to the Samsonite site which is very easy to navigate and found a request form for a repair. I filled in the request with all the required info and found the part I needed. With the part there was a short YouTube video on how to fit the part. There was no payment required and I did not provide evidence of the damage. I repeat - There was NO payment required and I did not provide evidence of the damage. The part took around 10 days to arrive (this was indicated on the request form) and was extremely easy to exchange old for new. Samsonite, I applaud you. Your product is 1st class and your customer care surpasses that. Thank you

A very good suitcase for general use. It feels sturdy and strong, and the overall build quality is excellent.The outer shell is quite prone to scratches, but that is fairly normal with checked luggage considering how bags are handled at airports. Apart from that, it has held up well and is a lovely product.The only real downside is the price, as there are competing suitcases of similar quality available for less.

Had to send a John Lewis case back after only 2 trips despite a 10 year guarantee. The lock was damaged so much, that it wouldn’t lock. The corner wall had caved in. Had a fight with John Lewis to return it for a refund as they wanted to replace it with a cheaper one, with a 5 year guarantee and a soft case outer - so nothing like the one I had - which I disputed. Long back and forth and they eventually refunded me. It was only 6 months old so they were claiming out of 30 days returns. Took me ages saying that’s not relevant it’s not fit for purpose. It’s luggage with a lock that won’t lock!Anyway, I then decided to spend that little bit more and get another Samonsite to replace it. I have 2 Samsonite cases already depending on destinations and nights away. My largest one is 20 years old -still working and good as new and has been all over the world. My cabin bag sized one has been in the hold, the cabin, trains and cars and is great for weekends away ir overnight. It’s 6 years old and even after all those trips it’s still pristine.So I got this - same style and have used it for a recent trip (I travel a lot with work not just holidays).You just can’t beat the quality of Samsonite in my opinion. Easy to use, look good and robust.

Excellent quality I've come to expect from Samsonite. I bought this because of it's three point catch rather than an all round zip which from experience is a weak point if the case is fully loaded. I'd recommend

We had a pair of Samsonite hard side cases for probably close to 20 years, but declining luggage allowances on many airlines meant they just became too heavy to use. We reluctantly changed to a pair of Antler soft sided expandable cases a few years ago, but they simply don’t last, so here we are, back in the world of Samsonite hard sides.We chose these particular cases for their clamshell locking system. It’s the same system as on our previous Samsonites and we’ve found it to be durable, reliable and 100% waterproof. For me, the weak point of any case is the zip; they’re likely to be the thing that breaks first, they’re easy for a thief to get through and they’re not waterproof. These cases are little more than half the weight of our previous Samsonites (although they do weigh a kilo or so more than our soft sides), they’re incredibly manoeuvrable and they look great. The internal dividers make them easy to pack and the lack or lining in the shells will help with long-term durability.Amazon offered these at the lowest price we could find and we got them on 5 months interest free (although, curiously, you can only buy one on interest free, so the wife and I had to buy one each!).

I have been using this case now for 6 months, I fly almost every week for work and have used this case every week. So far there have been no issues and the case has no significant signs of wear and tear, the wheels have stood up to horrible airport car park surfaces. Having used 3 other cases in around the last 2 years and having them last only 6 months or so before they were so damaged that they could not be used anymore I can confidently say that this case was an excellent purchase, the price difference between this case and the others was not significant but the performance was. Depending on how frequently you travel it will be worth spending a bit extra and saving in the long run. Don't purchase in a hurry as there are often special offers, so with a little patience and effort you can have a great case without spending significant my more than for an average case.

Haven’t traveled with it yet, but it is really light weight, big enough to fit a lot of things inside, can’t wait to see how it performs at the airport 😁
