Chickens like them.
I buy these pellets when I haven't got time to go to my local supplier, just to get me by until I can. There as good a quality as any other pellets I've bought. The chickens don't complain anyway. Not as good a value as a big bag obviously but great as a convenient in fill. Not sure what they taste like I've not tried one. They last well in an air tight container.

Chickens prefer fresh.
Yes it may be the expensive way to buy it but I think that purchading in smaller bags gives you a constant supply of fresh crisp pellets.I believe that once open they are like an opened cornflakes box which loses its new crunchy fresh taste unless sealed tight after each opening.My 3 chickens eat every pellet since I started buying them like this whereas before they would rather starve and the pellets were left untouched.

One off the bags was open and lost half the food but I think it was good for the price
