As lever products go, I have found these to be more efficient than all others I have used and recommend them highly for all rim/tyre combinations where a lever is recommended. **Q: Would these work on fat bike tyres? As they're 4" wide the spokes are much further away.** A: you shouldn't really need them on a tyre like that. Big bike tyres can be removed easily with your hands, I do it all the time with my MTB wheels. **Q: Do you know if they will work on thick 12" buggy tyres?** A: They work on wired mountain bike tyres, so buggy tyres should not be an issue. The principle of tyre changing is the same regardless of what type of tyre. Perhaps as your buggy rims are not previous like bike rims, you would be better with metal levers. Best advice would be to go to any bike shop and they will be sure to help you out. **Q: Will using plastic levers stop the wheel black rims on my bike being scratched? The current alloy levers I have seem to mark the rims.** A: Of course they will stop the scratching. Metal levers are not the best as they can cause punctures while fitting a tyre on. Plastic ones won't. While they are quite short, I found these lifted the tyre bead effortlessly, and with there being 3 levers it was no trouble leaving 1 in place while lifting the bead a little further along. They left no unsightly marks on my black painted alloy rim or the black painted spokes. These help make a tiresome job (no pun intended) much easier, are small enough to be carried easily on your biking adventures and very lightweight so you will not know they are there.
