I've been really pleased with this. I was wary of reviews saying that food was sticking but I assumed a piece of iron, properly seasoned, would have to function as expected. And it does: the pan arrives unseasoned so do allow an hour or so to season it (there are two sides obviously so it does take a while). But once seasoned this is nice to cook with. I just made a batch of American pancakes and every one lifted beautifully.One thing to note is that the pan is lighter (ie, thinner) than I expected, so the temperature might dip a little if loaded up with a lot of meat at the same time. However once it comes up to temperature the heat distribution seems fine.As others have noted, the handles extend enough that this won't transfer to a standard sized oven, but I can't see that I'd need this.The gutter down one side is nice: you can sweep excess oil or burnt bits off while you continue cooking.

Fantastic product, really sturdy and a great heat conductor. Bought this for my BBQ and wasn’t expecting miracle but this griddle pan has made making burgers, kebabs and even eggs a joy! Really easy to use, cleans really well and for the price you can’t go wrong. Having a reversible pan like this helps either creating those “charred” marks, or making eggs really simple.

Very solid, hefty piece of cast iron. Well made, no blemishes or rough edges. Instructions for seasoning the griddle inluded. Packaging was adequate, but as usual EVRI delivered it to the wrong house. They are useless, and I would implore the seller to use a different courier. I've never had a satisfacory delivery by EVRI.That's the only reason I've deducted one star. The griddle plate is good quality and excellent value.

Great piece of kit, only used indoors on the gas hob, haven't used on the bbq yet, but great smash burgers from the flat side and great sear markings on steaks from the grill side!!

I purchased this for use on my BBQ and, to be fair, it performed its primary function well during cooking. The surface heated evenly and the food cooked as expected, so I have no complaints about its performance straight out of the box.Unfortunately, my experience after cooking was less positive. Cleaning proved to be far more difficult than I anticipated. Despite allowing it to cool and following my usual cleaning routine, burnt-on residue was extremely difficult to remove. What concerned me most was that parts of the surface appeared to have bubbled during use, and I suspect some of the coating may have deteriorated or lifted, which made cleaning even more challenging.The other major disappointment was the appearance of rust shortly after the first wash. I ensured the item was thoroughly dried after cleaning, so I was surprised to see signs of corrosion so quickly. For a product intended for repeated outdoor cooking use, I would have expected better durability.**Pros:*** Performed well during cooking* Heated effectively and did what it was designed to do* Easy enough to use**Cons:*** Very difficult to clean after use* Surface appeared to bubble during cooking* Signs of rust appeared after the first clean* Durability does not inspire confidence for long-term useOverall, it worked well for the actual cooking process, but the issues with cleaning and early signs of rust mean I would be hesitant to purchase it again. If durability and ease of maintenance are important to you, it may be worth considering alternative options.

I was waiting to use it for a couple of times before I could leave a review. As someone who has spent more of his life working in a kitchen as chef couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. It does everything perfect. I cooked T- bone steak, burger patties, chicken fillet, even fish. The result? Fantastic. No sticky, ready for use in less than 5 minutes, easy to cook and more easy to wash. Believe me when I say that with this item you get more than you pay...

THE MEAT COOKED VERY WELL ON THIS GRIDDLE PLATE BUT I WOULDN'T CALL IT NON-STICK AS IT TOOK SOME ELBOW GREASE TO CLEAN IT. I SUSPECT THAT I PUT THE GAS SETTING TOO HIGH AS IT DOES STATE NOT TO USE THE GRIDDLE PLATE ON HIGH HEAT.NEXT TIME I WILL USE THE MEDIUM SETTING AND SEE IF IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. OVERAL I AM NOT TOO DISPLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE.

I have seasoned as per the instructions but I used too much oil so it was sticky. I washed it and did the process again and it was totally fine. I used it to make steak and some vegetables. Washed it and seasoned it again. So far it seems to be a good product
