If you open the back, you can see a somewhat realistic interior layout, which was fantastic for explaining ambulances to kids at our preschool.It doesn't make sound which tbh is a blessing for parents. The fire truck we bought on the other hand...

Super-glue the cab to the back of the truck and let it dry before you give it to your child.
This is a really nice toy, but the cab can be easily separated from the back of the truck. After one got broken, I super-glued the front to the back so that it's more like a single unit and seems much more sturdy.
