A Littmann for nurses (or Dr's who "tend" walk off with them)!
I have been wanting one of these for years, they are close to being the Rolls Royce of stethoscopes. Thankfully they don't cost as much! The nursing stethoscope is slightly less expensive than some of the doctors Littmann's but what makes this so good for us is the shape of the head. Being egg shaped it fits snugly under BP cuffs compared to the usual round ones. The build quality of the Littmann is also far superior than that of your usual "cheapie" stethoscope you buy from web sites,and available in some funky colours now as well. That aside make sure you get it labelled because it's the sort of kit that can "grow legs" and walk!! If you want to do a proper job (and I do)! (..I work in a specialist Cardiac Hospital) you need a proper piece of kit. Unfortunately the NHS doesn't buy this sort of stuff anymore so we have to buy our own, but with quality like this it lasts for years. Sonically the diaphragm (high / low frequency options) are superb, pick up is exceptional, my audiophile engineer husband was astounded at the pick up & clarity, he sat attentively listening to various aspects of his body, hearing plenty that he'd not experienced before with my old "bog-standard" stethoscope, ...i'm actually glad the pup rummaged around in my work bag & destroyed the old one as this is of infinitely better quality & durable Worth every penny ...& more.

Good quality stethoscope
Quick delivery. As a student nurse working on wards that all use manual Blood pressure machines this is an excellent quality stethoscope to hear when the quietest BP's. Worth paying the money for to get an accurate reading every time on the first attempt meaning less discomfort for the patient. The shape of the head is perfect for sliding under the cuff and does not drag on the skin. Lovely colour. Perfect for what I needed it for
