Samsung 7.0 Galaxy Tab2 - White (8GB WiFi, Android 4.0)

A great Tab, easy to use and being an Android Tablet it gives easy access to thousands of apps. I had previously purchased a cheaper version and I can tell the difference. Don't waste your money buying cheep versions as you will end up needing to upgrade as I did to get the best from your tab.

Got this free when I purchased my Samsung NX 1000 camera, and its a great little tablet. It lacks a little speed, but then processor speeds change so rapidly that it is impossible to keep up anyway. No complaints, and my son loves playing with it!

When I first used the SGT2.7 I was impressed with it. Jelly Bean is nearly a finished Android software and runs nicely in the tab. Even the Samsung overlay Touchwiz is not bad. I have mainly bought this tablet for my wife and my 5 year old daughter. My wifes requirements: Facebook, Youtube, Skype, Internet and games. Internet is quick enough for her and she loves the Facebook and Youtube apps. Skype does not really play well with this tab. It logs her off without reason. Video communication is nearly not possible. I will come to games later. My daughters requirements: Books, education apps, video and games. Books and educational apps hardly require any decent specs so they play well. Video is fine too but I use MX Player from Google Play as it seems to get on with more formats. Finally games... Games that my wife and daughter plays are not very power consuming but some of them require quite a bit of storage space. And this is where the main problem of the tab is. The internal storage that is free to use is about 4 GB which fills up pretty quickly with games data and cache. The tablet does not allow apps to be saved to sd so the expandable memory is useless here (though it is pretty good for videos). I would suggest that if you do get this tablet you should get the 16 gb version. However, if you are voracious app and games user consider something else as I have a Nexus 7 16 gb and that is proving to be not enough. For storage reason alone I am giving it 3 stars as I consider it false advertising when Samsung says the tab has expandable memory.

Lots of good features good security settings and easy to set up - my daughter has been very happy with this so far and has been able to listen to music, films and play games so ticks all the boxes. Plus side is the SD card slot to expand memory. Excellent value for money when compared like for like. Delivery was very good and well within the 3-5 day delivery time period.

Well most of the other reviews are quite positive so please take this in context.... I found it is very slow, battery life restrictive, the screen size could be better and my biggest gripe is that the touch sensitivity is very poor. (No I do not have sausage fingers!) Thankfully I got this "free" with a camera. It may do what you require and it may be the right price for you. So if you think it is the tablet for you make sure that you go somewhere where you can see it and try it first.

This was a Christmas present for my husband as part of Samsung Compact System Camers package, he is not the best with new gagets but he loves this, he has downloaded films from the store and even though it is a 7" tablet the quality both sound and vision is really good. He is well impressed, result.

Good value for money, easy to set up, loved by 11 year old I bought it for Xmas. No need for the Samsung 3 about the only difference is the processor. The Sam2 is fast so no worries there. Easy and straight forward, I would recommend for adults or children
