Logitech Wireless Combo MK520 - UK layout

! bought this Desktop to replace a failed Anker Desktop (only lasted 8months but good while it lasted!!) I have always used Logitech Keyboard and Mouse combos for the past 20 years! Most Wireless Desktops for sale on Amazon score 4 stars in their user reviews. None of them it seems are perfect, but good in parts!! I went for the MK520 as it was at the top of my price range. It installed a treat on my Windows 10 Professional Desktop PC and I also downloaded and installed the latest Logitech Set Point software. I have to say that the whole package performs faultlessly and I have absolutely no gripes about my purchase. The MK520 also has on screen notifications for Caps Lock and Num Lock functions, and the Caps Lock Key also has a green light which comes on when Caps is selected. My last Anker Desktop did not have this convenience. Most current Cordless Desktops also do not appear to have Caps Lock or Num lock Visual Indicators probably in an effort to save battery power!! I have no hesitation in recommending the Logitech MK520 as it does everything I want at a fair price! It may be a tad on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. The Logitech is very well put together, looks great, and performs exactly as a Wireless Desktop should ( although it appears that many other makes fall far short ! ) I am so pleased with the MK520 that I am buying another one from Amazon to keep as a spare! I adhere to the old saying "Buy Cheap, Pay Twice"!

Excellent quality and usability!! The moune is poor, as it does not have the back forward buttons, but it is compact and responsive. The keyboard is 100%, but remember, it is LARGE!!!

Love the keyboard but the mouse is awful. The keyboard is responsive and nice to type with. The rounded off keys are nice and setting it up on Windows 10 couldnt be easier. The mouse on the other hand is too small for my hand, it may suit some people. Sometimes when you go back to it after a short break to type, it won't move, you have to lift it up and put it down again. After using a right handed style mouse it's not a good shape and doesn't seem to have much precision either. It's really poor compared to my 15 year old Logtech MX510. However, for the price paid I am quite happy because the keyboard is nice, but I've gone and ordered a much better mouse.

To add to other reviews. Great keyboard, but the thing I have found with it is that the edges are very sharp. I relocate the keyboard everytime I get up from my seat and have cut my hands just short of drawing blood from the clear plastic surround. I am thinking of using fine sand paper to remove the sharp edge. --Update-- I have taken some fine sand paper to the sharp edge and now the keyboard is perfect. Logitech, you need to address this design flaw.

I bought this to replace an identical set which I have had for some years now so I can give you a long term review on these, the set I'm replacing has had a hard life being covered in various crumbs, gunk, keytops worn down, melted in places (whoops!) but still working. The only reason I am replacing it is because its old and worn, not because its broken. When I saw the exact same keyboard and mouse set still for sale at a very reasonable price I jumped at the chance to get another five years without having to re-learn where any of the volume keys etc.. are.

This is the second one of these I have bought. I have 2 systems so now both have one of these. I have had the first over a year now and don't think I have changed the batteries, they seem to go forever. I like this combo set as you don't find many that have a caps lock light like this has. Wish it had the number lock light as well.

Straight out of the package, keyboard types fine, everything is ok. If left untouched for a while and typing resumes, you could type a whole sentence before it 'wakes up'. I find that it also loses connectivity within games, or if I sit more than a meter away the keyboard struggles. Mouse seems fine more or less but from other reviews indicates fast wear and tear.

I bought this as a step up from my K270 to be able to connect my kit between 2 computers quickly and easily along with an MX Master Mouse (I didn't bother with the mouse that came in this bundle so cannot comment on that - although I will say it is a full sized mouse and looks OK). Put simply, the MK520 keyboard looks good in the pictures but just looks and feels awful in reality. There's some transparent plastic that surrounds it that just feels tatty, flimsy and pointless - not the end of the world. However the finish and keys are awful; it has a sort of coarse matt finish that just looks cheap, and the keys are slightly oversized which means that you catch the keys adjacent to the keys you're striking if typing quickly, rather than having a decent gap between them. Sorry Logitech, I like your kit but this one is a fail, after 5 minutes I boxed it up and it's going back - and I have very gladly re-instated my basic K270 which even though it doesn't do all the smartypants connecting, it has never missed a beat, it's compact but has everything you need and the keys feel nice. More expensive is not always better!

This keyboard and mouse are the easiest to set up that I have ever owned. Simply plug the mini-usb stick into a port on your computer, pull the tabs sticking out of the battery compartments on the keyboard and mouse (amazingly batteries ARE included), and you're off to the races. Literally 30 seconds to install. The keyboard has all of the standard function keys and is fairly comfortable to use. While any new keyboard requires some adjustment for the user, after a few days, I am totally comfortable with this one - it meets my needs perfectly, at an affordable price.

This one of the best keyboard and mouse combination which I have, delivery was prompt I couldn't find in any of the retail stores in INDIA

Logitech Wireless Combo Mk520 With Keyboard and Mouse Lo compré porque mi teclado anterior tenía las teclas muy duras y complicaba la escritura. Me gustó este teclado, es muy agradable la escritura, tiene botones multimedia muy útiles. Ojo, es teclado usa, no trae la ñ sin embargo usando la combinación ALT + 164 eso no tiene mayor relevancia. Tiene un tamaño relativamente grande, es muy cómodo al escribir porque puedes apoyar tus manos. Se siente todo de buena calidad. El mouse todo perfecto.
