Fitted elderly dog’s crate perfectly. Worked well to keep him warm. Seems good quality and was easy to clean.

Brilliant, but simple product made up of a layer of cosy mock 'sheep fleece feel' material outer top side, with a thinner material underside and zip fastening the length of pad that houses the thin foil inner. Despite loud 'crinkling' noise when cats get on or move around on their pads - due to foil inner - it doesn't seem to have put them off, as all pads are all in constant use 24/7 - winter through to summer! Also placed in feral cat's (long-hair) 'outdoor' cat shelter, which has kept her warm despite -8 winter weather (she refuses to come inside). The outdoor pads have taken a battering with feral's muddy, wet body & paws & continual outdoor lifestyle, but are still in a good condition & being used one year later after repeated washing of covers. Indoors, cats love them - even with central heating on. Do not feel unduly warm when felt with human hand, but obviously warm enough for cats with fur - long and short. Gives a cosy, extra bedding or snoozing layer. Lightweight, easy to wash on a gentle heat and a reasurring, easy to pack & carry 'security blanket' reminder of home to use for when cats go to bording kennels.

This was my rabbit's favourite comfort mat to stay warm on chilly nights whilst living outside in the garage! He now lives indoors but still enjoys using it as his 'comfort mat'. Buying here means it's significantly cheaper than in any pet shops, which is ideal as many stores charge significantly more money for the exact same product. The mat itself is a zip-over cover with a cosy sheepskin-like fleece on top and a thin fabric layer on the bottom with tiny rubber dots to prevent slipping. The inside is a crinkly foil-like sheet, which retains heat to keep your pet comfortably warm. The outer layer can easily be removed and washed in the machine when dirty, making it so easy to look after. These are perfect for any cats, dogs or rabbits in the colder weather, as the inner layer helps retain the animal's natural body heat and keeping them cosy without being a hazard at all. Just be sure there is other space for your pet to move to if they feel too warm! I did also notice that although my bunny is a serial nibbler and loves to chew or rip up bedding, he never chews this - possibly as it is a synthetic material rather than a natural one? The only slight flaw in this otherwise great product is that it does make a scrunching noise due to the inner layer when the pet sits on it, which can put them off at first! However even my timid rabbit got used to it and now loves to sit on it to keep himself cosy. Ideal for any pet owners looking for an affordable and safe way to keep your pets warm in the winter months, or on chilly evenings!

This item is really good, my dogs love it

This was ordered after receiving the medium version and initially being very happy with it....needless to say the same issue has happened again but I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. My review of the Medium: I bought this for our two whippets as they are definitely a comfort dog. Well they love the blanket but there is one problem and that is in the build quality. On the underside of the blanket there are hundreds of little rubberised/plasticy dots which I assume are there for friction to stop the blanket sliding around in beds and on wooden floors (a plus for here in Sweden) but after several days I found that most of them had come off in the bed or over the floor. This may not be an issue for you if your dog has a high sided bed but in our case it just moves around too much when the hounds get in and out of bed.ught this for our two whippets as they are definitely a comfort dog. Both of my cats wanted to submit reviews but they're too busy sleeping on their mats to bother so they asked me to pass on their observances: Ty says: I'm Siamese and 7 years old. I made my master place the mat on the wicker chair in the conservatory where I catch the rays in the morning. It's on top of my favourite cushion but I don't care because the pad is like lying on a sunbed, it's that warm. It's also soft and cosy and I don't mind the rustling noise from the foil inside because I'm used to the noise the wicker chair makes anyway. Once I've trained my master to bring me Tequilas too my life will be complete. Smokey says: I like to chill on my master's bed because his lap is too small for me to fit on now. I am NOT fat, just big boned, and anyway it's scientifically proven that masters shrink with age. The mat allows me to curl up in the middle of it and still gives me a good 10cm all round so that if I get too hot I can easily stretch out a bit more. I even go belly up sometimes and lie on my back when nobody's looking. I have my street-moggy reputation to think about. Me: I ordered these with Super-Saver delivery and they arrived in a couple of days, large box as the mats come in individual boxes which are also quite large. I can see why they're a #1 seller and would recommend them to ANY cat owner with 99% confidence, there'll always be that 1% of cats that you can't please no matter what you try. I haven't owned dogs in years but if I did I'd certainly give the large sizes a go too. This medium sized one would be enough for anything around the size of a Yorkshire Terrier. Easy 5 stars from me, delighted.

Well I bought this as we are snobs and have just bought a new sofa, and with two cats that ruined our old sofa I was determined they are not going to shred this one with their whiley cat ways. So I spent a fortune of feliway to discourage vertical scratching and also thought. we could:- Option 1 ban cats from room and sofa, Option 2 Wrap sofa in plastic for the next 20 years but we are not from that age group or Option 3 buy something to encourage them to sleep on and therefore depositing dirty paws all over cover not sofa. and wash regularly and merely leave us to dry clean sofa covers once a year. I know this is a little deluded but we want to preserve this sofa to see us out! So I will be back in 40 years or so to see how well it's all done!. Both cats loved it! The scardy one quite happily sat on it within a few minutes even with the rustly sound without a worry and the confident one , when she eventually came in quite happily sought it out ,sat and purred as if it was quite normal didn't quite behave as the weirdos previously reported but quite obligingly slept on said area without too much bribing.! Result! I may have to get another one though will have to monitor! It is a good size covers the whole seat area and therefore said cat is not perched with just part of it on seating cushion of sofa ( unlike another mat borrowed from a cat carrier that gave us the idea.). It seems very decently made and suits a large cat as the vet rudely describes them, Would recommend

This is oddly crinkly, but the cats seem to like it. The heat-reflecting part, similar to that silver foil stuff they wrap athletes in after a race, is inside a zipped, washable cover; I haven't tried washing the cover yet, I don't forsee any problems but can't comment on durability. One odd thing is that ours seems to reflect the heat through the "wrong" side - almost as if the reflective bit is facing the wrong way - but I daresay we could experiment with turning it over. While showing it to the cats I had it on my lap with the furry side upwards and my legs were getting awfully warm! It might even be nice for human feet at the bottom of the bed in winter .... In all I think it's rather expensive for what it is, but the cats like it so I might even buy another.

This mat arrived today and it is one with the crinkle sound, so I put it on the floor with several blankets layered on top of it. She has been using it and hopefully it will be warmer for her, as she has severe arthritis and needs every bit of warmth to aid her. Unfortunately, she can no longer make it up to the bed or the living room chairs, so it's important to me that she be as warm as possible on the floor. I would have given 5 stars without the crinkle sound; some animals won't use a mat with that sound, but with the additional blankets it's not so noticeable.

My cat loves it. Always fits on it on the rug. Aldi put one on his favorite armchair. Easy to clean it.

Bien moelleux sans être trop épais, bien chaud, facile à entretenir (fermeture éclair), le revêtement intérieur ne fait quasiment pas de bruit métallique, pas de quoi faire fuir un chat en tout cas. Nos chats d'intérieur l'ont tout de suite adopté, pas de bol : - c'est pas pour eux !
