Cake Star 18 x 14cm White Wafer Paper - 12 Sheets | 178 x 142mm Sheets, Edible Rice Paper, Vegan, Vegetarian & Coeliac Friendly, Kosher Certified, Ideal For Printing Or Shaping : desertcart.co.uk: Grocery

Review: good quality thick edible wafer paper - I purchased this pack of 12 sheets of rice/wafer paper to decorate some rather cheeky cakes I was making for the film 'carry on up the Khyber' for our local community cinema. The price was reasonable. The rice/wafer paper was good quality, thick and easy to work with.I chose it because It did not contain a lot of chemical additives and preservatives like others available, but basic potato starch. I was able to fold it into pleats, draw on it with edible ink to make the kilts and secure it to the cake with icing. The rice/wafer paper is itself tasteless and a good thickness so held its shape easily. I would recommend this product and would buy it again
Review: Exactly as described - Really good quality, perfect for coconut macaroons and very good size and quantity for the price, not much else to say except they are exactly as described and are great value

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this brittle? Can it be bent easily without snapping?**
A: If it's stuck to something bendy it bends with it . Something like nougat lets it bend otherwise it will crack.

**Q: is this gluten free?**
A: It's listed as just potato starch and water, so I would think, yes, gluten free. But that assumes that the listing is correct and it hasn't been "messed with".

**Q: Is it vegetarian**
A: Yes I believe it is.

**Q: i see its vegetarian but is it vegan?**
A: The ingredients are potato starch and water so yes it vegan.
