This is a fantastic intelligence toy and well worth the purchase. It’s sturdy, well made, and easy to clean, which is a big plus. My dog took to it quickly and really enjoys figuring out how to move the sliders to get the treats out. It’s great for mental stimulation, especially on days when walks are shorter, and it definitely helps keep boredom at bay. I like that it’s challenging without being frustrating, and you can adjust how you use it depending on your dog’s experience level. Overall, this is a brilliant activity toy for keeping dogs entertained and mentally engaged. I’d highly recommend it for dogs who enjoy puzzles or need extra enrichment.

I wanted something to engage a cheeky cat who will open drawers and cupboards in her quest for treats. I have used the plastic balls with holes in, but she gets the food out very fast. This is perfect. It is well made, the right size for a cat, and easy for them to use. The levers and lids all slide very smoothly and move with just a nudge of the paw or nose. It is a level 2 toy (level 1 is easy, level 3 is hard). As the cat found this too easy I gave it to the two chickens. They enjoy it when it is primed with corn and will be seen occasionally exploring it just in case. It survives well outside although I did bring it in at nights during the winter. The chickens can access all of the compartments by using their beaks. Makes a great party trick! I have had this toy for a couple of years at least and it is definitely very robust.* Would recommend +++ *I have recently replaced it as a builder stood on it - the toy did not survive. 2018 update. I now have two ex-battery chickens and a bantam Orpington. They, too, thoroughly enjoy this and have all picked up this game quickly. The toy is very, very sturdy and the last one was been kept outside for a couple of years. I am reordering as I stood on it and broke a flip board.... 2022 Update This lasts forever outside unless I stand on it🤦🏻‍♀️ All my chickens (mostly rescue) have loved this toy and start to get very excited when it appears.

My lab puppy loved it! Unfortunately only 4 stars due to it not lasting as long as I'd have hoped. Parts were very easily chewed off and presented a choking hazard

My dog loves this puzzle and it’s lasted him a while. It’s easy to clean with a sponge so that’s a bonus. As for engagement he is quick to try move the parts even the cat had a nose so it’s a solid first puzzle toy.

This product is ok, I suppose. I hadn't realised it can come in different colours, so that's my fault for not seeing it in the description, so I suggest you order a specific colour or otherwise you'll end up with what they send you, which is not great on the eye, mine was black/brownish base with red & yellow movable flaps/discs etc, yuk, but that didn't put my dog off trying to seek out his treats, and it took all of 6 minutes approximately! I personally think this item should be marked down in terms of how easy or difficult it is to complete, as I expected it to be more stimulating and would take longer than 6 mins to complete! But thats not down to the seller. It did give us some fun, as our dog is so comical and cute when doing his puzzles. Will be donating it to the local pet rescue/day care centre once finished with it. You can put treats in all 7 holes. It has 2 x lever arms to open the 2 individual flaps, it has 2 x upright columns to hide treats in, and three holes which have 2 disc covers to slide from side to slide - leaving one hole always uncovered. This plastic item has a sturdy-ish base, but the accessories on it feel a bit brittle, it's ok for little dogs, but a bigger more boystrous dog maywell brake it! Dog loves it, but struggles with the 2 upright columns

Bit of fun for the dog. Well made.

Easily set up, simple for the dog but not very durable. My dog is a rescue who was abounded so she is extremely nervous when left for an hour or two. After one use, she seemed to enjoy so, when the family and I went out to go see my sisters play, we left it out. While we were gone, she chewed the handles off. SUTIBLE FOR SMALL DOGS.

Great fun, bichon took a while to figure it out first go. Flying it now. But cant get the two middle bits up. She knows how but just now able.

My dog, a skittish miniature Dachshund, hasn’t done well with food puzzles. The rolling ball that drops kibble frightened her. Kongs? Nope. But one day, a piece of her treat fell under the couch. Even though I retrieved it for her, she tried to ‘find’ it for days. So I thought it would be good to find a food puzzle that would help bring out a sense of play in her and to challenge her. I like this puzzle. It comes with instuctions on how to introduce the puzzles to your dog. For instance, for the sliding pieces, leave the slots open a bit so she can see the treat. After she starts getting it, close the covers. The first time we played with this, my dog was (unsurprisingly) afraid of it. But she saw me dropping treats into the holes, and she HAD to come close. For Day 1, I ust left everything open. Same with Day 2. Day 3, I started closing the sliding covers, leaving them slightly ajar. And so on. We’ve had this less than a week, and she’s now pawing at the toy—something she has NEVER done. And because of that action, she was able to access the hardest puzzle—the bone lever cover! I’m very pleased that she’s no longer afraid of the toy, that she’s motivated to find the treats, and she’s figuring out the mechanics. It’s exactly what I was hoping for! She may master this too quickly, but it will still be a fun ‘hunt’ for her. As she ages, I’m trying to keep her mind sharp by introducing new challenges. I’m glad I picked this one!
