It thrives in low light conditions, making it perfect for indoor aquariums of all sizes. This low-maintenance plant supports aquatic ecosystems by providing shelter and breeding grounds, while its moderate watering needs and easy pruning make it a favorite among both beginners and seasoned aquarists. ## Description Echinodorus bleheri from South America is undemanding and beautiful, and becomes 20-50 cm tall. A nutritious bottom promotes growth, but the plant needs pruning to prevent it depriving plants underneath of light. Echinodorus bleheri does well even in poorly illuminated aquariums, as it grows towards the light. It is a hardy and easy solitary plant for both beginners and the more experienced with quite large aquariums. Removed from the pot to be posted Review: Good - Good Review: healthy plant - Lovely plant. Has started to establish itself really well. Rooting well. Very pleased. I think it might be good for my corys to lay eggs on. Quite a tall plant so it leans over a bit. But looks great and in good condition. Update. I have just received another 2 plants in excellent condition. The first plants have established so well. I really am pleased with these. Highly recommended. Update 2. This plant/weed has continued to establish and has remained healthy. It is such a nice addition to my tropical fish tank. ## Features - Removed from the pot to be posted ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B018MG2COU | | Best Sellers Rank | 24,460 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 97 in Live Aquarium Plants | | Brand | Justplants | | Brand Name | Justplants | | Colour | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 1,912 Reviews | | Expected Plant Height Unit | 50 Centimetres | | Expected blooming period | Summer | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Indoor/Outdoor usage | Indoor | | Item Weight | 0.2 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Aquarium Fan | | Manufacturer Part Number | RuiChy | | Material Features | Natural | | Material feature | Natural | | Moisture Needs | Moderate Watering | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Low Maintenance | | Plant or Animal Product Type | echinodorus | | Special feature | Low Maintenance | | Sunlight Exposure | Full Sun | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | expected blooming period | Summer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Justplants - **Colour:** Green - **Expected blooming period:** Summer - **Expected plant height:** 50 Centimetres - **Indoor/Outdoor usage:** Indoor - **Item weight:** 0.2 Kilograms - **Material feature:** Natural - **Special feature:** Low Maintenance - **Sunlight exposure:** Full Sun - **Unit count:** 1.0 count ## Images ![Live Aquarium Plant "Echinodorus bleheri" Potted - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51zCKLIVWlL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I bought this as discription says potted and is not but still a good size and good condition** A: Mine did not have a pot either. I was fully aware that, although it says "potted" in the description, they would arrive loose through the post which was no problem as I received 4 separate healthy plants. This information is buried further down the page in the more detailed description of the plant. I have given a 4* rating as I think many people would be, and have been, disappointed that they thought their purchase would be potted so note to vendor, it would have been 5* if this information was at the top of the page in plain sight to avoid disappoitment. To finish, plants arrived earlier than expected, are good value and healthy. Would certainly purchase from this vendor again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Live Aquarium Plant "Echinodorus bleheri" Potted - 10 x Oxygenating Weed Live Pond Plant ELODEA DENSA - Also Aquarium Aquatic Plants - Live Aquarium Plant "Anubias nana" --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/48157097-live-aquarium-plant-echinodorus-bleheri-potted](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/48157097-live-aquarium-plant-echinodorus-bleheri-potted) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
