Lovely consistency, and it works!
Like many women, I have never quite settled on one brand for all my skincare and every now and then I try new ones in a (usually vain) attempt to emerge more Venus-like. At the start of lockdown I decided to try a different face mask, and settled on trying a clay based one. After checking reviews on various websites I decided to try L'Oréal. I didn't really expect to love it, given it's a supermarket staple brand nowadays albeit a respected mid-range one. But I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The mask is easy to put on and doesn't immediately harden, so it's easy to wash your hands etc after application. You don't get that awful tightening feeling that some masks give as it dries, but you do feel it harden ever so slightly. It's only when you touch your face after five to ten minutes that you realise it actually has dried in very nicely. If you forget to take it off after the allocated time or even if you leave it on for ages (as I do at times, albeit not strictly recommended by the manufacturer), mercifully there doesn't seem to be any reddening or drying of the skin caused by your tardiness. It actually seems to come off just the same as if you'd done it at the exact right time, which is great in terms of flexibility and much better than the ones you practically need a stopwatch for. The only difference is that the longer it's on, the more you'll see little flakes of the mask start to crumble if you touch it. But that's to be expected. I did once or twice have occasion to cry while wearing the mask (let's just blame sad movies) and the water didn't mess up the mask - albeit the trails of tears made their mark and turned my already green face into something resembling a comic book bad guy. If anything, it's a good way to laugh yourself out of any silly tears. On the flip side, the mask doesn't crack too much if you smile or laugh. You can still talk while wearing it, depending on how much room you leave around your lips and assuming you are fairly gentle in your speech. A massively wide smile might cause some cracks but even then, not enough to bring the mask crumbling down off your face. Removal is easy, just water on a cloth for me, I like the duality of the minor exfoliating effect that has while the mask is coming off, though I imagine you could just use your fingers with water for a gentler removal. And yes, my face definitely feels the effect afterwards. It's much smoother for maybe a day at a time. So much so that I feel the need to use this every week now, as I'm used to having a baby soft face, albeit we are sadly I'm 2020 therefore not allowed to be physically close enough to anyone for me to reap the benefits yet. This is my favourite of all the L'Oréal masks (and I've now tried them all). Really lovely. Enjoy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE
I bought the detox and the matify masks on a whim and I'm so glad I did. I love everything about them from the lush smell to the feel and to the price. I have good skin normally but it can get a little dry or a little shiny in places. Recently I'd had these tiny bumps appear all over my chin and nothing would shift them for weeks. One application of the detox mask and they were 99% gone overnight. I use a foundation brush to spread them evenly, wait for a while and then wash off with a clean, warm, damp face cloth.

Love it!
Such a nice face mask! I’ll definitely get more than the 10 uses out of it and I definitely wouldn’t say I’m putting on thin. It dries quite quickly and is gently on skin. The smell is lovely too! Afterwards your skin is left feeling smoother and amazingly soft! I’m using it about twice a week and am so impressed. Only downsize is the oversized packaging from L’Oréal but it doesn’t affect the product, you might just be a little disappointed had you bought it off a shelf. Will definitely buy another when mine is empty.

Oversized box, unnecessary perfume added, but product is good at getting rid of excess oil
I've got to address a big annoyance first - the outerbox looks like it's half air. Look at my photo of the tub alongside the outerbox and see the height difference yourself. They've gone to all the effort of designing the folding little cardboard wings as part of the box that stop the jar rattling around in all the empty space - this is totally unnecessary. The jar itself is fine for the price, the size is fine, it's nice and weighty, having a misleading box adds nothing but negativity. The jar has a really well designed seal with no annoying foil layer, it's a semi flexible plastic with a pull-tag which keeps the jar sealed and stop the mask drying out, without being impossible to remove. The mask itself is really easy to apply and does a solid job at capturing oil from the oily areas of our skin. It has a citronellol and other perfumes added, and once again this seems totally unnecessary, I'd say strip it back to basics you're onto a winner as the product itself is effective.

I really recommend L'oreal
I love this product. Usually i try to use vegan and organic product but due to this period every day at home i fought with a very bad answer of my skin. I'm doing gym at home i have carpet in here, i'm not going outside a lot and the skin need to be purified, so one day, checking for good masks in amazon i saw L'Oréal (maybe is not the best in the world) but my mother in all her life used to buy L'Oréal and i'm sure that is good because she has a beautiful skin. I really recommend this product for incredible results.

Wonderful
I love this product, easy to use and makes my face feel wonderful after use. My skin is noticeably brighter and smoother from using one or two times a week alternated with another l'Oreal product facial scrub.

Lovely product!
I thought this was a fantastic product and great value for money as you can easily get more than the 5/6 applications it says on the jar. The container is attractive in the bathroom with the mask being easy to apply have a lovely smell, nice colour and soft, smooth texture. A lovely product for semi-regular use.

Quite nice, caused a few zits.
Made my skin feel soft and clean afterwards, but I did notice my skin was more broken out the following days after using it. That could just be due to the product drawing out dirt from the skin. A fairly nice mask and in my opinion you'll get way more than 10 applications as it states on the box, unless you're slathering it on a centimetre thick.
