Soft, loose, and flowy. It is 100% polyester so easy-care. I loved it so then ordered a white and a black. By that time the price had increased $4 but still a great value. The white and black must have come from the second run of these shirts and it seemed like the fabric was not quite as high quality as the first one.. A little more sheer and less substantial feeling but still good and still a great blouse. I'm a full figured 16 and an XL was roomy and comfortable. It is quite long, perfect with leggings, but might be a bit long on a very short person (I'm 5'8").
