Artway Dip Pen Set with 5 Drawing & Calligraphy Nibs,black

Really good value for money and all work fine once cleaned with saliva as recommended by another review. My preference for drawing is the 002 nib with the bent end which has a lovely flow and I can vary the line width slightly as I draw by varying the pressure. That nib doesn't sit as far into the handle as the others but its solid enough and doesn't move when drawing. I would recommend doing a little research before starting to draw as the inks and paper you choose will affect how well this works. I played around with a range of papers ut found a smooth 250gsm paper works great and allows the nib to move smoothly while the slightly thicker paper allows you to be generous with the blocks of ink without warping. I also use Indian ink which doesn't bleed as much as watercolour ink.

It arrived quick and the nibs fit well with the pen, but one of the nibs at the tip came bent which was unfortunate :/ it's a good price as it's cheap, quick and easy use. Everything else was good to use - just unfortunate about the one bent nib.

Excellent cheap set that is perfect for getting into dip pen illustrations or calligraphy. The different tips give a great choice of line designs and they all fit securely into the pen. I bought a small cheap case to keep them safely in as they don’t come in a box but a plastic packet.

The nibs that do work are great but unfortunately some aren’t very good and won’t hold ink sufficiently. Cheap product but could be better

I bought a few other budget pens to renew my Calligraphy practice with, and I needn't have done so. This pen is by far my favourite calligraphy pen. It actually seems to improve my writing! One of the nibs doesn't fit properly into the holder, but the others do just fine. I just love it.

Excellent set of nibs. Easy to adjust to fit holder. All the nibs perform well and the nib with the upturned point is especially smooth. A very good purchase.

Not even good for practice. Most of the nibs included do not fit into the handle provided. If you do manage to secure them in there or use a handle you already own, then there is one nib comfortable for writing with. The rest either scrape across the page barely leaving a mark, or immediately drop thick ink dollops in their wake like an incontinent squid. Don't waste your money on this set unless you want the learning experience of finding out what a bad pen feels like, or you have a creative artist type in your life who you want to punish.

This pen set is prefect for beginners. Just what I needed to take into the field to sketch and draw. Nothing to keep the nibs in but then nor does the considerably more expensive closest rival.

Bought this kit to be able to test out inks and write their names on swatches. Not a single nib in the package is working. Tried a vintage nib I already had from before and there were no issues so you can't blame it on bad ink. I guess I will have to polish and tweak them to be able to make more than a 10 mm line and scratch the paper to pulp.

Economico e funzionale!!! La penna con in dotazione i pennini di varie misure. Non vedo l'ora di usarla!!
