Lepro Head Torch Rechargeable, Super Bright LED Headlamp Waterproof

My previous head-torch was snaffled by my beloved, so this one did have a benchmark to meet. So far it's been really excellent and is delivering everything I need. I use it for dog walking so the 'tilt' adjustment is essential so the light hits the floor and doesn't blind fellow walkers - the tilt adjusts easily, doesn't slip, and stays where it's set. The light is absolutely bright enough and is a clean, white light. It can adjust down a brightness setting which I do use when I move from the dark to our low-light streetlit area. It has 'flash' mode and also red+red-flash mode which although I don't use them I find it useful to be available for emergencies. My previous one was batteries and this is rechargeable, which I did approach with trepidation - however, no need to worry at all. It holds its charge really well - I've walked for about 5hrs so far and not needed to recharge. I checked the charge when it arrived and it has a red charging light which changes to green when fully charged so it's easy to see when charging is complete. Finally, but an incredibly important part of head torches, the elastic headband is really comfortable but is strong enough and doesn't allow the head torch to slip/move even when adjusting tilt, etc. Whilst other 'incredibly bright' torches are available, I need to preserve the retinas of fellow walkers and this one does everything I need ... and ... as I'm a moody cow with absolutely *NO* tolerance whatsoever for poor product design (which sends me into a complete rage because it's not necessary) I think this is a 5-star review ;o)

I’ve been using the Lepro Head Torch since 2023, and I’m genuinely impressed - it’s still going strong after all this time. This little powerhouse has been my trusty companion for everything from carrying out work in the loft space, completing my gardening jobs in the winter and camping trips, and it hasn’t let me down yet. The build quality is great - solid and durable, with no signs of wear even after regular use over the past couple of years. One of the standout features is the battery life. Once fully charged, it lasts several hours, easily powering through long evening outings without dimming. I’ve never been caught out in the dark, which is a testament to its reliability. The light itself is pretty bright - more than enough to light up a trail or campsite, with a beam that reaches up to 150 meters (or at least is claimed to). I like the versatility too; the adjustable modes (full brightness, half brightness, flashing, and red light options) make it adaptable to whatever I need. It’s also comfortable to wear. The elastic headband adjusts easily and stays secure without slipping, even during more active use. The fact that it’s rechargeable via USB is a huge plus - no fumbling with batteries - and it comes with a handy carrying pouch that keeps it protected when not in use. For the price, this head torch shines (pun intended). If you’re looking for a reliable, bright, and long-lasting head torch, the Lepro is a solid pick!

For several years now my main hobby has been sitting near strangers in public places and silently trying to guess how many Jaffa Cakes they could fit in their mouth at once. Until recently this was mostly guesswork. This head torch has completely transformed the accuracy of my assessments. The beam is incredibly bright, which allows me to properly inspect jaw width, cheek capacity and general Jaffa Cake potential from a reasonable distance. If somebody looks particularly promising, I approach them with a packet and ask if they would be willing to verify my estimate. Current record is seven. The gentleman involved initially said he did not want to participate, but changed his mind when I explained that I had brought the head torch. Comfortable, extremely bright and leaves both hands free for distributing Jaffa Cakes and recording results. 5 stars. I have learned so much about the human mouth.

... of running outdoors and bought lots of 'cold weather kit'. I wasn't intending on running at night (I can trip over easily enough in daylight 😁) but got caught out by a fast-falling dusk so decided to get a head-lamp incase it happened again. I didn't really 'know' what I was buying but went more on price. The headband is stretchy to be comfortable and can be lengthened/shortened for good fit. The light can be directed straight ahead or lowered through stages towards the ground. There is a hole for recharging through a usb port which can be sealed to prevent rain getting in; or, in my case, landing in puddles. It has one white and two red bulbs which can come on independently or together. You can choose white to come on as main beam, dipped or flashing; red does fast flash, slow flash or on. Main beam is Very bright. The control buttons are easy to use even when being worn. I'm not able to comment on the battery life as I haven't run far with it yet. Update: I have just done a fiddly diy job in a hard to reach and dark place. This was great for being able to see what I was doing and use both hands. Not what I bought it for but Sooo handy to make a difficult job more easy. I'm now doubly pleased with my purchase and would add another star if I could. Came in time-slot, well packed for delivery and easy to open. In nice sales box if given as a gift. I'm well pleased with my choice.

How did I ever manage without this? £ for £ I can't think of anything that has made such a positive difference to my life for such a small outlay. It has transformed my nighttime walks in the deep dark lonely but beautiful woods of the Blackdown Hills (hands-free now with 3-4 dogs whose eyes glow like twin lasers with the intense reflections of the beam on its brightest setting). I can choose a different setting to read in comfort in a dark or dingy room. And the infrared setting instantly creates a magical ambience. A complete delight. Well made, and very well thought out. Sturdily built and (admittedly only after a month so far) extremely reliable. The chargeable battery lasts for hours. Easy to operate, I've bought one for each of my (almost) grown up kids (including one her gap year in S.E. Asia) and they are equally captivated and impressed. Highly recommended! And no, I've not received any inducement for this review. I just think that for people like me and my family this is a very low cost way of providing a major life enhancement. .

These are ok,. Not amazing, but for close up things they are great. Not a great range of light, but they are quite small and basic. For a simple cheap task they are great I will buy again, for what I need these fit the bill perfectly.

The beam is quite powerful...More than I expected for the price. I encountered wild boar at night and was able to spot them early enough, and them me, to divert and safely remove myself from the situation. The lamp also tilts up and down so you can angle it straight ahead for distance or down toward the ground when walking, which is a small detail but serves us well to shine light for an elderly dog on night walks.

Bien emballée et livrée dans les délais, cette lampe frontale surprend immédiatement par sa légèreté et sa puissance. Légère et orientable et surtout rechargeable, vous ne la ressentez presque pas sur votre tête. Les boutons d'allumages sont bien placés et simples à utiliser. Testée la nuit en pleine puissance, elle éclaire efficacement jusqu'à 10 mètres. Le halo lumineux pouvant aller jusqu'à 100 mètres (oubliez les 150 mètres annoncés). En mode intermédiaire, elle éclaire 2 fois moins et cela est bien pratique pour ne pas aveugler ses coéquipiers et économiser un peu la batterie. Le troisième mode (clignotant) est une sécurité intéressante voire indispensable. Pour les LED rouges, le premier mode permet de conserver la capacité de vision nocturne malgré une luminosité plus faible, lire son bouquin,sa carte... Le deuxième mode (clignotant ou tactique) est très efficace. Je vais en commander deux autres pour équiper mes véhicules (en cas de panne et crevaisons la nuit...) Avoir une qualité à ce prix est remarquable. Sans conteste, mon achat le plus lumineux de ces dernières semaines...

Love, love, LOVE! I absolutely love this headlamp! I've been using another, different headlamp for the last few years, which is much larger and quite cumbersome. It also requires 4AA batteries. Although it is good and still works fine, I noticed on my last camping trip, that the adjustment straps kept needing re-adjusting which became very annoying indeed. So, I wanted to find something of quality but less cumbersome and also easier to travel with. I use a headlamp on my camping trips when I travel interstate so besides the headlamp itself, I've also always needed to pack a battery charger along with batteries, which not only add to the space taken up but also the weight! This Lepro Headlamp is exactly as described, and I couldn't be more thrilled! Compact and lightweight, so very easy to adjust and packs a punch! love the fact that it requires no batteries and I love the included red warning light in the design. Enough illumination strengths for all my needs. As I said, I couldn't be happier with this item and already purchased another for my camping buddy who loves this just as I do. From me, five stars, absolutely. A true quality item at fantastic value for money. Thank you Lepro for making a quality product and Amazon for making it available.
