This is nice! It makes perfect rice, I love it! I'm anxious to try out steaming veggies and using it for a crock pot to make stew. It's easy to use and clean, easy to work with, and not too big so it isn't difficult on storage. So far so good.

Love this thing! So easy to use. Easy to clean. Reasonable cook time. Rice turns out great! We’ve had it for a few months now and use it often. So far, it’s holding up well.

I have had several rice cookers over the decades, but this has been the most consistent and easiest to use. White rice is perfectly cooked every time. The steaming basket it is beautiful feature. There is absolutely no friction in changing from a humble one-button rice cooker to the AROMA cooker. Would highly recommend. (Note: the non-stick surface of the cooking pan needs to be babied -- no harsh cleansers or abrasive scrubbers)

I've been using this rice cooker for about 3 months now and just love it. I originally bought this for camping but have found that I love it so much I use it at home almost daily. It does rice very well and I love to use the saute function to saute my steel cut oats in some butter to release the nutty flavor, then finish them on the oatmeal function. Turns out some great oats. I just finished using the slow cooker to make some Italian Chicken Vegetable Soup and the soup was done in about 4 hours. Unfortunately there isn't a way to select low or high on the slow cook function and I'm unsure which one it cooks on. One thing I will mention is that you can only fill the pot up half way when using the slow cooker function. I used 16 oz chicken broth, 1/2 cut up chicken breast, half a stalk of celery, 1/2 small onion, 1/2 peeled sliced carrot and half a can of diced tomatoes with various spices. So Making soup will give two good sized bowls, enough for two people or two meals. I certainly would purchase this again.

This definitely gets the job done, and is good for the price. I used this for about a year or so, and was quite happy with it - then I was gifted a small Zojirushi (a used one, from a second hand store), which is quite a bit better - more uniform, nothing ever sticks or burns, stays warm for over a day and still tastes perfect. I see them all the time at second hand stores!

Small but versatile. Preset functions are easy to use. Makes rice and so much more. I suggest you get a rice cooker cookbook to learn how to cook beyond just thr rice function. Once you you understand the way each function works, you can make virtually anything in it. Quality is excellent and priced right. I didn't want a pressure cooker. This suits 2=3 people perfectly.

The best rice cooker. Trust me it does not disappoint. Easy cleanup and makes the best rice and the streamer makes the best broccoli 🥦 steam. I use this for sushi 🍣 rice and I cut half my salmon and use it as a sashimi and the other half I place it on the top steamer while the rice is cooking. It’s the best!!!!!!! I also cooked oatmeal and it’s a hit!

This rice cooker works as well as any others I havw had over many years. It's perfect for rice but I have also topped the rice with fresh salmon which was perfectly done, jui y, and delicious. A definite good purchase.

Been using Aroma brand for decades. I only needed to buy this new one because I didn’t pack my old one when I moved from the US to Canada. The rice pot is smaller than I expected but it’s fine, since I did mainly get it to make 2 meals. I’ve only used the rice cooker and slow cooker function, which is what I got it for rather than buying 2 separate appliances. It works great. In case anyone is wondering, the Slow Cook feature is preset to High, with a temperature of 203°F. It does not say this in the manual or on their website, so I contacted Aroma directly. It’s a great appliance when used to cook meals for up to 2.

It works pretty good, though yet to get perfectly fluffy rice. I'd rate it a 5 if the steam vent and lid were removable to clean. Be nice too if slow cook had a hi and low setting.

Very slow! 2 cups of rice should not take over 40 minutes to cook!Using stove and simple pot is much more efficient. Maybe this is good for slow rice cooking?
