does this have a light on it to show its working?

the real, detailed answer: yes, it has a dim light, but it does not work nearly as well than the one in the SanDisk rectangular sliders that are one step up from this. that light actually flickers like the hard drive light on a PC while it is thinking/doing something! the light on this one just slowly flashes off and on, is too dim, and is oblivious to what is going on w/ the computer. it is not what i would actually call an "activity light." the one on this one never changes and is a quite monotonous "idiot light." i have and extension USB cable that runs in from the bedroom and hangs on the living room door-jamb, since i do most of my typing in here on a wireless keyboard, and i want the receiver dongle closer to it. (the PC is hooked up to my HDTV and home theater.) so w/ the rectangular slider plugged into the end of this extension, i can see what appears to be going on w/ the computer.
