Alcohol Meter Spirit Hydrometer 0 ~ 100 % with Protective Cover for Home Brew Wine Beer Making

Tested against various 40% and 55% shop purchased spirits and was spot on , IF i was to make some Alcohol (illegal without customs and excise license i believe?) I would trust this spirit meter to add distilled water to obtain 40% VOL alcohol ;-)

Waist of money. Difficult to return. Does not give correct reading. Anything sugar based no correct reading.

In the header this product says it is suitable for wine; that is incorrect. The instructions say it is not suitable for sugar distilled products such as wine. I put it in my homemade wine which blows my head off and got a reading of zero. Either I can’t handle my wine anymore or the instructions are correct and it doesn’t work for wine!

I have bought this product twice now (second purchase is going back today) and neither have worked. Not sure if they have both been damaged during transit or whether the product is simply no good. Could not get a reading at all on various test alcohols - no sign of any mercury rising. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Easy to use and has quite a big range, but what does it matter if the paper to read the degrees are misplaced? I wish I could attach a picture to how you the measurement for a 6.5 beer, it reads below 0 if that's possible >:(

Not working it says just alcohol that not containing sugar tried on spirits shows nothing waste of time and money

Dieses Alkoholmeter funktioniert einwandfrei. Es ist bei der Schnaps oder Likörherstellung ein unverzichtbares Muß. Ich bin von der einfachen Handhabung absolut überzeugt und würde es immer wieder kaufen.

Es muy sencillo de usar simplemente se sumerge en el líquido que se quiera medir y cuando deje de oscilar y se estabilice, y aparece marca, lo que indica la graduación es lo que se sumerge, o sea el nivel del líquido marca la graduacion. ejemplo: si el nivel está en la raya 32 significa 32°
