This little beast surprised me—in a good way. I use it mostly to transfer ROMs to my Anbernic handheld game console and photos from my still cam. For a reader that pushes these kinds of speeds, it’s shockingly compact. I’ve seen other "high-speed" card readers that look like they were designed to double as doorstops. Not this one. It fits in the palm of my hand and doesn’t make my backpack feel like I’m hauling bricks. Transfer speed? Ridiculously good. Like, “wait, that’s it?” levels of fast. I’ve moved gigabytes of footage and project files in what feels like seconds. And unlike my last reader, I didn’t have to go hunting for a micro SD adapter or some cursed dongle from the drawer of lost tech. USB-C plug, smooth sailing. Dislikes? Honestly, none for me. It does exactly what I bought it for and at a price that didn’t make me question my life choices. I deal with large photos regularly. My photos are generally about 24-30 MB in size and when I come back from a photo shoot or two, I may have 50GB (or more) to transfer. I already had a memory card that could be read fast, but I could never find a compatible reader until I bought the Lexar Professional USB 3.2 Type-C Dual-Slot Reader. The transfers are now at the limit of the memory card (which is slower than the max read speed from the dongle). I love this product and if anything happened to it, I would buy it again!

Funktioniert auch bei UHS-II Karten mit hohem Datendurchsatz, vorausgesetzt, man nutzt eine USB-Schnittstelle auf neuestem Stand.
