Q: HELLO, I just wanted to check if the two intercoms are linked by a wire that you have to run across the house? Or if they are wireless?

The ones that I bought are connected by a (supplied) wire, each end of which plugs into the units. Charles.

Not two-way, you have to press the button to speak on the main unit; when the main unit is switched on, you can hear everything at the slave unit. I find this useful when in my wrkshop as I can hear the phone or door bell. If my Partner calls me, I answer by pressing the transmit button. Hope this helps. Charles.

Hi, I don't think these intercoms would be suitable - you get yards of wire, need to put them somewhere, and one person has to be able to push the button. Suspect all of that would mean it is probably illegal to use in car as distraction to driver. Not supposed to use phone in car whilst driving, intercom would be more distracting than just shouting! Modern hearing aids usually able to be directional - probably better route to go down.

Not a good system & already stopped working. Not bothering to get a refund.
