What an effective fly killer, If you mis-hit you still stun the blighters but be aware...A full hit comes with a loud snap sound :-) I spend a lot of my time pro-actively looking for victims. A little heavy and pricey but worth every penny

It is so much better than the cheaper versions and the sounds on impact are very satisfying. If you have an issue with flies, you need one.

I bought this cos I knew someone who had it and its very good when the fly is willing to crash into it but I'm too lazy to run around after the fly. Bit too expensive for what it is but looks good and gives the fly a nasty shock

Bought for my elderly dad. Works really well, nice satisfying crack, not so good when he accidentally zaps himself. Flies not keen, one star from then.

Having seen one of my friends have one, and the efficient way it was dispatching the bugs and flys, I decided to treat myself with one. Arrived after having to pay the 'fast shipping' price (Could have been free if I decided to up my account to Prime - but no other choices for delivery). Have to report, so far so good. Feels sturdy (for what it is), easy to pop the batteries in (which are supplied) in the cardboard protector that is around the head, and you are ready to go. A very satisfying 'crack' when you make contact with the fly, though smaller flys seem to be able to make it through the gaps, but when they do make contact, there is no problem. I have seen that some people have experienced issues when hitting lager flys like wasps and blue bottles, but that has not been my issues as yet (Perhaps when the batteries run low it can't deliver the power?) So far very happy with my purchase, though not sure my technique will get me to Wimbledon very soon.

Does kill flies and wasps. There's great satisfaction in despatching a bluebottle and there is a knack to catching them. I am not successful waving the racket in mid air but have found it's easier if you wait for the fly to settle. Once settled, quickly place the racket over and swat them when they move. A necessity in in hot weather. Wasps usually take two tries!

Once this was bought, we had no flies about for days. I was wondering if the reputation of the executioner had got around the fly population. That was until this afternoon. Oh my. A poor fly wandered in and I was prepared. It was attracted by my baby grandsons feeding time but didn’t get far. A press of the button and a gentle stroke of the executioner, and todays forecast of thunder and lightening became fact. A large crack. A big flash. Still cannot find the remains of the fly. The three folk in the room were all suitably shocked and then in awe. I have one issue, and it is about safety. If a child managed to get to it, they only need to be touching the strings as they press the button and could be injured. I need to keep this out of reach. Other fly killer bats have a safety switch which must be flicked before the button to make live is pressed. They also often have a mesh fur added safety. This has neither. So 5 stars for the executioner but one lost for safety.

When you zap a fly there is a loud crack and a flash. However this is not enough to kill a fly and you need to keep it on the device and zap it a couple of times.

Après avoir acheté de nombreux autres modèles à l’efficacité quasi nulle, cette ci est pour moi c’est la meilleure raquette anti moustique : étincelle et claque lorsque le moustique est dessus, ce qui permet une utilisation dans le noir et une satisfaction lorsque le moustique est grillé ! La raquette tient bien dans le temps, possibilité de mettre des piles rechargeables mais de hautes puissances. Seule défaut la raquette résiste mal aux chutes : fonctionne toujours mais sans le claque. Prix assez élevé mais de très bonne efficacité dans le temps.

Ich habe das Teil nun fast ein Jahr und bin begeistert. Preislich schon am oberen Ende, aber bei dem Ergebnis würde ich es wieder kaufen. Auf den Knopf drücken, gedrückt halten und die Fliege oder Mücke in der Luft erwischen und es knallt und knistert und der Störenfried ist erledigt. Vorteil, keine Flecken an der Tapete, kann auch Outdoor verwendet werden und das Flugobjekt direkt in der Luft erledigt werden. Batterie ist noch die erste und auch das Einsetzen war ganz einfach. Die Fliegenklatsche liegt gut in der Hand und ist sehr robust. 5*****

I have been using this The Executioner for two years and have had no complaints. It is still using the original batteries and we have some incredible flies, moths and mosquitoes here in Canada. Also, it is great sport. I note that there are some imitators on the market now, but upon inspection, their quality is very low, this product is the one you should buy.

Super product and I intend to buy more. Expensive but much better than the cheaper zappers we have and makes a satisfying sound when it kills. Taken out lots of mosquitoes but has also worked on some larger, persistent flies who deserved what was coming.
