Cat still climbs tree
These are great but our cat still gets over them !!!

Stops cats climbing onto bird houses
Used these to protect bird houses in my garden after finding a cat sitting on top of the (luckily uninhabited) bird house! Haven't seen that since putting these up above and below the houses

Cats simply push past and through the spindles
Nice idea but my cat was up and over the two belts after 3 goes at sussing them out. I don't think longer spindles would improve effectiveness, they simply negotiate their way through the spindles which are somewhat flexible laterally, with no discomfort. It's a bit long putting them together but easy to put on the tree.

A good product but came with no instructions just a box of spikes, worked it out but instructions would have helped

Not cat proof
Hi added these to two young trees I have with cat matting at the bottom. I also have a oscillator cat system around my fence so that cats can’t get out. One if my cats found a way to jump over the tree guard and get high enough on the tree to jump over the Katzsecure system. Absolute rubbish!

Comes all in pieces
Didn’t put on the tree so difficult to put together ended putting metal twisted stakes that hold plants up by tree seems to have put the cats off going up the tree

Doesn’t work. Kitten climbed over them and went up the tree. Waste of £30. The spindles should be longer.

Fait son travail : le chat qui s’intéressait de trop prêt au nid habité des mésanges a du renoncer à grimper Mais il faut les enchevêtrer car le chat est malin et ne pas lui laisser de place pour ses pattes Ne blesse pas l’animal grâce aux embouts caoutchouc

Mis gatos ya no se suben a ninguno de los árboles. Hay que hacer pruebas y colocarlos a la altura adecuada, si están bajos los gatos son capaces de saltarlos desde el suelo. Ya los tengo a la altura adecuada y el gato salta al tronco, justo por debajo de los pinchos, y como ya no puede subir, acaba bajándose. Además, al ser modular, puedes ajustarlo al grueso del tronco. Con dos unidades he podido cubrir 4 árboles.

Einfach zu montieren. Katzen haben es bisher noch nicht überwunden.
