Great Product - P*ss Poor Amazon Delivery
This is an amazing product! And well worth buying but please buy it from absoultely any other company apart from Amazon! Four bulbs in a row have arrived smashed to pieces due to a complete lack of care and consideration. With no packing around the bulbs and then being placed in large empty boxes where they can bounce around and be broken... Once is an accident, twice is a serious mistake... Fourth time that's a p*ss-take!

BROKE
So...I ignored all the comments saying 'this item was broken' And guess what? It arrived in a damaged box with a broken bulb... So if you still buy it, I told you so On the plus side, I'm waiting for the item be returned as of tomorrow which was pretty straight forward and for this reason I'm giving it a one star.

Sehr gute UV-Röhre, aber völlig ungeeignete Verpackung durch Amazon
Die Röhre an sich ist von ihrer UV- Leistung her sehr gut für Tiere aus offenen Landschaften mit hoher UV- Bestrahlungsstärke geeignet, wenn man sie in einem Abstand bis ca. 30 cm (nachgemessen mit SOLARMETER) zum Tier einsetzt. Nach ca. 12 Monaten (je nach täglicher Brenndauer) hat sie aber so viel ihrer ursprünglichen UV- Leistung verloren, dass sie ersetzt werden sollte. Darin unterscheidet sie sich aber auch nicht negativ von anderen UV- Leuchtmitteln. Daher auch die 5- Punkte Bewertung. Ein anderes Thema ist allerdings die Versandverpackung von Amazon. Diese war völlig ungeeignet zum Versand von Leuchtstoffröhren. Von 2 gleichzeitig bestellten Röhren, welche seltsamerweise in 2 getrennten Sendungen zeitgleich eintrafen, waren beide enthaltenen Röhren zerbrochen. Dies war auch nicht weiter verwunderlich, da die zum Versand gewählten, dünnwandigen, schlanken Umkartons den Röhren keinerlei Schutz gegen Durchbiegen boten und auch kein weiteres, stabilisierendes Material, wie etwa eine Holzleiste oder Pappröhre, enthalten war. Ich habe die kaputten Röhren somit zurückgesandt und bei einem spezialisierten Terraristikanbieter bestellt. Dort weiß man offensichtlich besser, wie Leuchtstoffröhren richtig zu versenden sind..........

Awesome bulb... IF it arrives in one piece. (Don't hold your breath.)
We bought this bulb for our bearded dragon and his personality was like night and day within days of installing this bulb. He was just a baby when we got it (about 3-4 months old) but not very active and seemed to be having eye problems with the previous bulb. However, with this one, he pepped right up and stopped closing one eye all the time. He is really happy with it. The only problem is that the first bulb we bought in January is the only one we've ordered here on Amazon that arrived without being broken. You need to replace the bulbs every 6 months and we've been trying since late June to get another one of these... we've ordered FIVE more bulbs, but do you think we could get one to arrive in tact?? NOPE. ALL FIVE HAVE ARRIVED BROKEN. We've ordered five bulbs in a 6 week period and each arrives broken. It doesn't help that the packages arrive with very little packaging inside and no label on the outside stating that it is fragile. Completely ridiculous!! We will be ordering from Petco from now on. They carry the bulb for less money, anyway.
