Will a 6” x 9” steno pad fit?

No, the inner pocket for a steno ad is 5 1/4”W and 8 1/2”L. I hope this helps. : )

Would a 6" x 8-5/8" hardcover notebook fit this cover?

Hello, this cover is designed for a 5.5 x 8.25 notebook. However, we received a 5 star review from a customer who fit a rocket book executive size (6" x 8-5/8" ) perfectly in this cover. So I guess this cover can hold a 6" x 8-5/8" hardcover notebook well. Below is the review: 5.0 out of 5 stars - Perfect to hold your (executive sized) Rocketbook Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2023 Verified Purchase I bought this to carry around my Rocketbook Everyday Planner (executive size) because I didn’t want to keep the frixion pens in my pockets, plus I needed to carry around a few small items for work. The book fits perfectly inside (I got rid of the pad of paper it came with) and it’s still pretty slim. Overall I love the notebook cover, the price was reasonable and does what I need it to
