Spanish for Beginners (Usborne Language for Beginners) (Language for Beginners Book)

I and my 3 year old son have used these cards for the past 2 months. It makes studying fun. My son loves them and he learnt quite a few words already. One cannot last with just a textbook when you study a foreign language-you need to add more dimensions to it.

These cards are useful and have got the right size. The only thing is it would be great if these had a perforated hole to put in a ring or bungee.

Good sturdy quality and lovely illustrations, but not sure they are actually that useful as a teaching aid, this is due to the fact that the translations are on the same side as the Spanish word which kind of defeats the point of flash cards. You could put a finger over the word I suppose. Both sides have a different picture and word so maximum use has been made of the space meaning you get more vocab for the no. of cards.

Easier way of learning new vocabulary. The whole family loves them. Makes learning fun!!

Flash cards are a great learning tool for adults or kids, especially when starting to learn Spanish

I just love these but it would be better if the English and Spanish weren't on the same side of the card.

my spanish teacher uses these so we decided to but them and practice at home.. i find them really helpful, they have the translation, at the bottom and also how to pronounce great item for any spanish beginner

Very very small size. These are very small cards. Not for kids.

El vocabulario es español de España (coche, teléfono, patata...) Pros: -Contiene 200 imágenes en 100 tarjetas (un concepto en cada lado de la tarjeta). Mucho vocabulario, en una caja pequeña y cómoda de llevar. -Las imágenes de la misma tarjeta tienen cierta relación, como mano-brazo, gallina-pato, mar-playa... o son conceptos contrarios como mujer-hombre, niña-niño... -Vocabulario para principiantes muy completo. -Los dibujos son sencillos, pero representativos, las palabras están bien escogidas. Contras: -No son grandes, miden 10x7,5, por lo que son adecuadas para trabajar de forma individual o con grupos reducidos. -En la parte superior aparece la palabra grande escrita en español y en la inferior la palabra en inglés y su transcripción fonética, más pequeño. Por tanto, son buenas para estudiar, o para comenzar a trabajar en el aula. Cuando comienzan a dominar el vocabulario, personalmente prefiero aquéllas que tienen en un lado la imagen y en el otro el texto, sin pistas escritas. Se pueden hacer más juegos con ellas.
