No. For the first 12 inches it is marked off in 1/32" increments but after that it is marked off in 1/16" increments. There is nothing metric about this tape measure.

No, the tape does not have an auto lock. The tape may be manually locked with the yellow button.

Does the tape bend easily around objects or is the tape rigid?

The tape can be formed easily to wrap around a 1/2" radius (e.g., dowel rod) - to me that is plenty flexible. Of course it is metal, not cloth as would be a tailor's measure tape, so that 1/2" is about the extent of it's flexibility.
