Like for like and easy to install. If changing yourself, it is vital that you isolate your boiler from the power supply along with the system as there is a direct live from the boiler. Not an electrician or plumber but found this out on-line. This is my fourth in 12 years. They break and the manufacturer needs to get this sorted.

Works as it should do and typically last me between 2-5 years. Electrician swaps it over in a few minutes and all good to go again

Very glad to get hold of this myson power extra actuator as it avoided any plumbing. The actuator is fitted now and working well. The old one lasted from 2004, so hope the new one is as good. Just make sure you turn power of at mains because there is a permanent live wire, remove one wire at a time from old appliance and replace it with same wire on new appliance. Ensure all screws are properly tightened and Bob's your uncle.

It’s not alway easy to get the exact replacement actuator. Getting a valve actuator is great as there is no plumbing involved. The boiler return relay is the most common failure. It took about 20 mins to install, being careful and doing it step by step.

excellent item have had one off these in the house , it lasted 17 years so hopefully this one will do the same
