Kensington Blackbelt Rugged Case for Surface Pro 11/10/9, 13" Military-Grade Protection - Black (K96541WW)

I have had my Surface GO for a few years, its my right hand for work/home and play - 24/7. I have tried a few cases along the way, but this is by far - hands down - the best and well thought out!This case is awesome. Perfect fit, is slimline but snug and very secure and also has a holder for my pen etc. If you have a keyboard, that fit is great too and there is actually a flip tab to hold that in place. The hand strap on the back ... stuck like glue, snug and secure.Two things of note ... the pen holder is on the left side, I would switch that, or lengthen the cord, only because it is great where it is for vertical writing, but not so much for horizontal writing.Second is the charging port (and I 'get' why the pen holder is on the left side) I got a warning the other morning that I was out of power, even though I charge it every night. The way the protection sides are set up, you need to be very aware that your power cable actually 'lights up' when you plug it in. Neither of those are deal breakers, just something that you need to take notice of.If I ever need another one ... I know what brand I am going to buy

The case fits my Surface Go 3 really snugly and has a nice appearance. I usually scoff at manufacturers' claims of their products meeting Mil-Std-XXX with no references to certifications, etc to back up the claims. However, I have taken my Surface Go 3 in its Blackbelt case to many wilderness locations over the last two plus years and accidentally dropped it during use on asphalt and packed dirt many times. I'm amazed that my device has not suffered any damage from the abuse. The case has really worked for me.

Over all the product is good for protecting my Surface go. The case holds the tablet and pen nicely. No worry of them falling out. The keyboard locking tab has help up so far also, keeps the keyboard in place when it is closed. the only problem so far are the cut outs for the power cord and the usbc. If you are careful the power connector will stay in place due to it being a tight fit. The cord will be pushed out (can not lay flat inside the port) and the connector will come undone. I believe it is due to the case coming out to far from the side of the Surface go. I say this because it also affect the usbc slot when using a dongle. you can not get the adapter in to hook up anything. I have had to take the Surface Go out of the case to hook up and external hard drive. Other than that it is a good case worth the money.

The cutouts are perfect, it seemed a little weird installing due to how you have to settle the device in there, but ultimately it protects the screen and device overall very well, and the fit allows for all functions to be accessed. It looks professional quality as well, while adding very little weight. The hand strap on the back is a nice added feature as well.

I highly recommend this protective cover for one's MS Surface Pro 8 computer. I would recommend this to family members and friends.This Kensington product might be one of the more expensive rugged cases but it performs in stellar ways! I have been using in for a couple months now. Set up was a breeze. I have NO ISSUE with the fit of the Surface Pro keyboard. The Surface Pro pen fits securely out of the way. The power cable fits perfectly, unlike a review I read before my purchase, so the manufacturer must have improved this feature in time.BTW, I also purchased from Amazon a spare wall power supply as well as a pair of mobile (12VDC) power supplies for portable operations. (I wish I could buy a spare internal battery because it doesn't seem to have an awesome capacity for my uses. Maybe I will find a way around this later, unless it is a service call item? Lastly, the Surface Pro 8 does not have an mic input for recording, certainly no line-level input, so I guess I need to get an external USB-C audio interface. But I now digress.All things considered, these purchases are serving me very well.

This case seemed very sturdy upon arrival. I loved the hand holder on the back. But after 6 months this case is n longer usable. The bottom has only a thin layer of plastic and it has broken and pokes out awkwardly and no longer protects the bottom portion of my tablet. Very disappointing as I opted to buy a more expensive case thinking it would be a long term investment.

I had originally purchased the Kensington Blackbelt case for the Surface Pro 4 a year ago. I loved it, and being a martial artist it was a kick to have something with the name blackbelt actually be high quality. Once I purchased the Surface Go, I immediately looked to see if Kensington had one for it as well.. and it didn't! ugh lol, it took months of careful waiting until it finally became available! Once it did, I picked it up ASAP. mine arrived today and I'm happy as hell. same design, same sturdy border type cover goes on easy no ports are block. strap fits and feels well even with my fat hands. the pen holder and string on the GO case is a nice touch, even if it makes me feel like I'm at a doctors office lol I highly recommend this case for the go. I like using the build in kickstand and having access to the sd card slot, unlike other brands.

I use my Surface Pro 8 daily for my job. I fill out reports in homes and take 100 or more photos with the surface daily to add to these reports. I purchased this cover primarily for two reasons and it failed at both of them.1. Hand strap.I wanted to be able to hold the surface in one hand while writing or typing with the other. The hand strap is at the top of the case, just under the camera. There is no way to hold the surface in front of you in landscape mode with the position of the strap. It is slightly more comfortable in portrait mode. Further, because the strap is right under the camera, you fingers cover the rear facing camera when holding it. That means no picture taking with the strap in use. No problem, take your hand out of the strap for photo time you say. Well, now you have a dirty camera lens.2. Pen holder.I've had 4 versions of the surface over the years and one of the best features of the older versions were that the pen could magnetically attach to the side of the device. The new slim pen does not mount to the side of the surface. Instead it sits in the keyboard. The new design is a more secure pen location but it is a pain in the you know where when you need to go from pen to no pen 100 times per day. I saw that the pen mounts to the top of this case so I was excited to get my pen back to easy access. Unfortunately the pen holder only works with old pen, not the new slim line pen. In addition, the one that I was shipped did have a pen holder. Just a string. Am I supposed to tie a string to a round pen? The photo shows some type of sleeve or holder but mine didn't come with that.In addition to these poor design choices, the shoulder strap is connected to the case with the thinnest string you have ever seen. It doesn't inspire confidence in securing a $3k computer and the keyboard cover is terrible. The keyboard will fall open constantly and will not store on the case if folded back to use in tablet mode.If you only use your surface sitting at a Starbucks counter and don't switch constantly between pen and keyboard than this case may work for you. If, like me you are using the camera, pen and keyboard regularly and want to use the hand strap look elsewhere for a design that has the hand strap on the center of the device, not the top.I'll be returning this one.

Solidly built protection for surface pro 11. All the soft materials (the hand grip and cover holder) are plastic and thus the entire unit is easy to clean. Wish it included protection screen for glass.

I bought this because it had a shoulder strap and a pen holder, I use my surface pro 8 outdoors regularly in my job. But sadly the pen holder lets this case down, it doesn't support the slim pen 2, which is what many will use on the Surface pro 8. And for the price I think the case could have been a bit more rugged. I'm going to return it, and shop around for something similar, but a case that holds the slim pen 2, because I don't want to lose the pen, they retail at over £100.

Very simple to install and fits without issue over a glass screen protector.All edges are covered well and I feel like it gives a sufficient level of protection within reason. I wouldn't put it up there with an OtterBox or LifeProof phone case but you can be assured it'll take some bumps without issue.The reason I got this case was because it allows for full mobility if the built in surface stand which it does.Only flaw I see from it is the piece of silicone that holds the keyboard down. It's only on the top right corner and I can tell that over time it'll either break or loosen enough that it won't do it's job as well anymore. I think a strap of similar nature that could go across the top of the keyboard when closed would be best and a type you could easily replace if it did break.

The product is poor quality and broke from the corner with in 6 months. This is the second pieces we bought. We were told that for the first one there was a batch defect issue but next one will be fine. But no difference. The 2nd piece also broke with in 6 months. Would not recommend this to anyone.
