Prior to this I’ve always used watercolour. From initial swatching with these the first 2 things I noticed was the depth of pigment which is stunning, they’re definitely opaque when used with very little water. Secondly is the creaminess, they are so easy to use with no brush drag. If I were to look for a criticism it would be the shade of green included in the set. To me it’s definitely an artificial shade that I would never be able to use in any botanical work without adjusting it. There is also some separation when you first open a tube but not a huge amount.
