Numark iDJ Pro Audio Mixer - Black

Since vynal isn't really the choice of the dj today I went with the awesome app of djay 2 for my digital method to mix. It's fun on my iPad 2 but not quite the same, something was missing.Then I saw this extention to the app and device and was dying to get one.I finally did and I'm more than happy many years on!It's played at pubs, a mates stag wknd and is used in house for making my mixes. It also added a much better control to the app on tracks than the app can itself, especially when beat matching and keeping the tracks tight.

Easy and fast to operate durring live proformances. Made well enought for weekly use and gigs provide is not abused. Balances outputs is a plus for better signal strength to speakers far away (30m plus worked fine). Ipads with lightning connectors need an adaptor which works perfect but looks a bit messy.

The seller did not make it clear that the product was coming from Spain and so was sold with a European 2 pin plug and not with a UK 3 pin plug. I tried to use a travel adaptor to test the product but it appeared to be faulty and would not work.I sent the item back, but because the seller is in Spain, it cost me £60 to post using the Royal Mail. The seller then claimed that the retail box was damaged, even though the product was sent back in the same protective packaging that I received it in The item was extremely secure and very well packaged.I eventually gat a refund for the item, BUT NOT THE £60 it cost me to return it. I am not happy, and I warn other UK customers to think twice about using this Spanish company.

Having now set it up with the Ipad Air and an adapter it is a fabulous piece of kit for any DJ to work with and easy to use as I have with a CD mixer and also 2 decks.

Really really clever piece of kit. Works superbly well , good access to all iTunes , good interface , compact sound through speakers. Great for those bedroom dj s out there or first time professionals. Worth the price.

Best ever

I am disappointed by a defensive phone call from the Electronic Centre after Amazon put a claim in without me knowing regarding my upset that a 30 pin adapter was not included for my Lightning iPad connection. It was not clearly stated some iPads would need an additional adapter. It did say Made for IPad 1/2/3rd generation. However, I don't know what that means and the Electronic Centre kept saying it "clearly stated". I believe it could have been clearer. The 2 star poor rating is mainly because of that phone call. The product is 5 star. I absolutely love it, but I have a big problem with poor communication and bad attitude and tone in customer. I work in the industry and it is shocking what we as customers sometimes have to put up with. You must challenge it, and don't be fobbed off with excuses. Be respectful, but firm.
