Multiple dents and noticeable imperfections that were painted over. There's a small hole in the side that was probably made during the etching process. One of the bolts holding the rim on caused a very noticeable dent from the inside causing the paint to chip. This one should never have made it past quality control, leading me to believe there isn't any quality control. I expected more from Meinl. That being said, the drum is very loud for it's size. Would be great to throw in a backpack for camping or festivals.I would still recommend spending your money elsewhere. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent qualite prix *by on Reviewed in France 29 June 2019* Excellent instrument fiablede son merveilleuxPour passer des soiree en familleFacile a apprendre --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/48572902-meinl-percussion-mini-series-doumbek-mini-handdrum-with-synthetic-head](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/48572902-meinl-percussion-mini-series-doumbek-mini-handdrum-with-synthetic-head) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
