The jacket was for a 7 year old that is true to size. It fit perfect. I ordered a size 8 so he would have it for a while. The jacket is not hard and uncomfortable, it’s soft and the color I chose was exact. It’s great for fall days. Timing was perfect the date that was said to arrive arrived on time
