This is not magnetic it is simply a flexible self adhesive strip that magnets will stick to. I attached this to my patio door and used small self adhesive magnets to stop the door blinds from blowing in the wind. Works fantastic.

I bought one of the ferrous strips (1m) and tried to buy a metre of the magnetised strip. In spite of their advertising this in one metre strips apparently the minimum order was 3metres. Why? When I put the ferrous strip against the apparently magnetised strip there was no magnetic attraction at all. So a complete waste of money. There was a total lack of instructions on the website or on the product itself. Yes, the individual strips had a strong adhesive backing , but they simply did not work as magnetic strips. Either there is a fault in the product or they do not supply enough detail on how they should be used. Very, very disappointed and feeling conned. Do not buy.

As this is only 12.7mm we've to put the sticky's in a row next to each other to hopefully hold magnets better hower it still didn't work. This can only really hold a certain, definitely light weight magnets. Some part of the sticky as well came off. We still use it to now for some small light weight objects, those that it can only hold.

Worked perfectly and as expected. I wanted to attach a garage door remote control to the wall near my front door, in my hallway. I attached 3cm of this strip to the back of the remote (after peeling off the cover on the sticky side). It has enough iron content in the strip to work very well. It then placed two 16mm mini magnets lengthways on the wall, and to end. (Again one side of the magnets had a sticky side, and just needed the covering pulled off...) They work perfectly together, and exceed my expectations. Remember, the mini magnets are a separate purchase, though I bough from the same seller that goes through the Amazon wh, so I got next day delivery and they arrive together. I would not recommend this type of attachment in a house with small children for swallow-risk associated with the magnets... Update: one star now knocked off after a problem a couple of months down the line... see my comment below...

Firstly I must say I feel sorry for the supplier here, their product description is clear enough, yet some buyers still leave unfair, negative one-star reviews for what was a mistake on their part. Tut. Used for attaching a draught skirt to a caravan using neodymium magnets, this is perfect as the attraction is very strong.

I used this to hold up magnetglaze secondary glazing and it was woefully inadequate. Compared to the original ferrous strip used for the window frames this stuff has far less attraction and the window just slipped down and fell off. So utterly useless for the purpose that I purchased it for. Also it came in 3 1m lengths, each in its own small plastic box which seems like a terrible waste of plastic. On the up-side - it was easy to apply so I didn't waste too much time to discover that the product was low-quality rubbish.

Not very strong. Was attaching a very lightweight sunscreen to a small window on my van. Keeps falling down. Magnetic strip not very strong magnet to hold even very light featherweight items in place.

Thought I'd add a review as a lot of the other reviews were negative. Works perfectly. Was using the small, quite powerful, button magnets which might make a difference, but as far as I am concerned it was easy to apply to the wall, takes a magnet very well, works as described.

No se si es que cometimos un error con el pedido o que no supimos montarla, o que la cinta magnética solo tenía un polo, pero la verdad es que fue a la basura... No funcionó y no cumplió su cometido

I bought this to stick along the sides of my desk, so that I could have a ferrous metal surface that magnets would stick to, so that I could hang various small items. Unfortunately, the effect is so weak, most magnets fall right off it. Even though the magnets are very strong, and on something like a refrigerator they can support a great deal of weight, they will not even support their own weight on this stuff, and fall right off, so they cannot hang anything else. The only magnets that will stick to it are really small, weak magnets, that will not hold up anything more heavy than a post-it note.

Je voulais l’utiliser pour faire un mur d’aimants, mais se colle très mal et peu adhérant avec l’aimant. Je ne le recommande pas, déçue de cet achat
